I rarely see a good assassination in game anymore. I remember the days when assassins could actually flank and get picks then escape by punishing squishies out of position. Lately, I only see assassins on side lanes using their "assassination" mobility to avoid getting caught. I'm starting to feel we should rename assassins to Escapists. Let's face it, there isn't a lot of assassination going on in the game currently.

53.33% winrate with a 4.86% playrate but Talon is god awful, because boards says so.

StoryDuck6 votesI liked those days though. I always felt really good when i foiled an assassination attempt. They felt like a threat. I do remember people complaining about them too (heck I might have been one of them) but looking back some of the best times was when I cleverly stopped them. I was also gold ranked so yeah, might not be remembering the best but my statement stands. Assassins don't assassinate anymore. Positioning was a lot more important when they were a threat.
Also, when did nostaliga become a bad thing? I seem to be getting a lot of hate just for saying "remember". Seems kind of petty.

StoryDuck6 votesLol, not everything is as we remember them :) but nostaligia aside my point is valid. A lot of assassins (not all) are being used for their mobility to escape and split push rather then catching people out and assassinating champions out of position.

3 examples, all 3 of these websites show not less than 52% winrate for platinum+, more for diamond+, while Talon has a solid pickrate of at least 5%, if not more.
Talon seems fairly strong right now.
dogehkiin5 votesYasuo isn't even broken in bronze, it's just broken when you lose lane against him and you need an excuse. And community isn't only separated by ranks, not everyone likes ranked.
I think Talon is still viable, he has decent Toplane winrate and his lvl2 combo can get an early kill if the enemy does 1 mistake. Lategame he could assasinate the ADC with a full AD build and a good play but he would die.

if a adc is standing right next to their support then they aren't "out of position", as supports are ment to be anti assassin/divers.
i also love the fact you point out and like these enchanters are the only ones that does this, because clearly if you jump a adc while any of these champs

now don't get me wrong, assassin do have a problem, but it doesn't lay with the supports, it's with the adc, their ridiculous burst damage and all their damage reduction/sustain items ( to take a few 
) that basicly allows them to out duel the classes they are suppose to be weak to, even without a support near them.
