Pantheon Support

Pantheon has long been a top lane champion while being viable in the jungle with slightly moderate clear times.

But far too often has this behemoth of a champion been overlooked as a support.

He offers a hard CC while providing a very durable lane buddy for your carry who can help you pack in the damage when needed, or eat those annoying shots with his aegis and laugh all the way to the bank.

He provides oportunitys to tower dive and take zero damage via double aeigis ( spear to open, leap after aegis goes down, then GET OUT OF DODGE! )

While he doesn't offer as much repositioning like blitz / thresh, and doesn't provide the long range cc of someone like janna, or the insane perma CC of Leona, he offers a style for the more aggressive laners who aren't afraid to go all in.

Pantheon unlike most other supports can still build some damage while being incredibly durable, with items like merc treads, randuins omen, black cleaver, and face of the mountain, you can provide heals to allies mid combat if they are low by killing off minions, while throwing them a shield, and really helping your team to control fights as you soak up damage

Sure other people can do far more damage, and others can hard CC, but I feel no other champion in the support role can offer as much durability, fight control, and pressure on carrys like a good pantheon support.

Never overlook the chance to put champions in otherwise non-standard places and you might be supprised by what they can do

Max shield first, and laugh all the way to the bank on how much ball position gives you control of fights AP Shaco / Blitz bot lane - The awkwardly funny moment when blitz pulls enemys into box nests and they die before the fear drops Sona Mid - For a support she sure can pack a punch when played as a mid apc. Easy to win lanes, hard for enemys to counter if played right AP Nasus - Sure... tank / ad is always fun... but when you have rylais + liandrys... that E really drops the bass on peoples heads... and the ult... my god... Olaf - Yup... just play olaf... it seems people have forgotten he exists
