Good Times to Play Ranked in Low ELO

So I just noticed a trend. I'm a college student, so I can be found online at literally any hour of the day (not every, just any. I'm responsible like that). Whenever I play a ranked game on weekends, 3pm-2am on weekdays, or any other time when kids under 18 would most likely be on, it's full of bad players. I'm starting to think the problem with low elo isn't low elo players, it's kids in low elo. Now this isn't to say kids don't have skill. I'm sure there are lots of kids who can dominate me. However, there's a few reasons why kids can't play as well. Emotional maturity, their brains' undeveloped decision-making skills, and , in some cases, just low skill levels make them less likely to play at a better level. Even in games that I lose when kids are occupied, I find there's more teamwork, less arguments, and closer matches, so that if you play at 1:30 pm on a Thursday, you're probably gonna be at it till 2:15 instead of seeing "[all] Hotshot69LOL [Zed]: gg. ff at twenty, report my team"

its true, play in the morning or late night. Above the age of 18 ppl usually become more mature because college/real world toughens you up in a way that parents don't.

i hate to agree i play at night sometimes and i notic that i lose so much more lp during the day than at night

His language is uncalled for, but if that's your argument, then its a trivial matter to destroy it. You are telling me you get this type of team EVERY SINGLE GAME, no? Statistically, is that even possible? Maybe, but the chances are probably about the same as winning the lottery. And almost everyone with your mindset says the same thing. So there are thousands of lottery winners then? I don't think so. Stop blaming the team and evaluate your own situation. What are YOU doing wrong? Perhaps you missed a gank? Or you didn't dominate your lane. Unless you fix your mindset of "Its not me its ALWAYS the team" you are never going anywhere in this game.

that is not what we are saying we are saying it is more common to meet people who have no idea what to do and more likely to feed. i never said any game is all just my team but you cant carry a team feeding its just common sense if you adc goes 0/7 in 25 mins chasing under turret blaming every one for not diving your gonn have a bad game its a truth thats what this is about. i feel from your comment you are one of these types of players so try and understand a fourm before you spout your hate here thank you..cause if not Urgot to be kidding

I'm trying to give you advice and YOU'RE insulting me, really? And I'm not one of those players, I only blame my team if I'm premade with them and even then I'm kidding around. I'm also more than 2 tiers above you so clearly I'm doing something right that you're not, eh? Continue blaming your team, see where it'll get you.

First off, I don't even think you know what the word tier means. Silver? Wow, I'm so scared! Please brag more! I'm platinum 3, not bronze/silver like you. Second, I've been trying to reason with you while you constantly throw childish insults at me. I'M the kid here? I'd reply, but I'm not sure what you're saying... all i said is try to avoid kids, not kids are the only reason i'm in bronze. and judging from the other replies most people agree games are in fact easier at odd times of the day. i'm not sure why you're raging so hard.

btw, i'm not sure if you're talking to me because i'm not in bronze 2, nor did i end S4 in bronze 2, but i was in silver 4 when the S5 reset dropped, i'm in b3 now because i haven't put any serious effort into climbing yet. so you're really at most 2 skill tiers above me.

Depends on the job. (If your connection can handle an extra 100 or so ping, a coworker of mine recently discovered you can play league over teamviewer if you leave your home computer on...)

I noticed this too. I now only play ranked Saturday and Sunday morning before noon for the most part (since I work 8 - 5 Mon - Fri).

I've noticed this too. I have no problem winning a promos during say 11am, but I have no problem losing every promo and going on losing streaks anytime passed 4pm.

I avoid ranked between about 5pm (8EST) and 11pm because I end up with teammates whose parents pull them off the computer to go to bed. IMO that's the worst way to lose a game. You can't really tell kids to not play ranked until they are independent of their parents, but it's frustrating to have a teammate quit because his parents turned off the router, or simply told him to go to bed.

i think you might be on to something. im in high school and get home pretty early in Thursday (my school is pretty on with schedules, i'd rather not go into it honestly) but im home around 12:45 then and can usually get some kind of momentum going for ranked.
