Better just sit back and farm these minions as they send their initiation to go chase them. But no one get involved.

We handle this DBZ style: 1 versus many and then go in single file until we're all dead.

Oh and there's no Goku to come in and win it all. He died of a heart attack.

How the hell do you teach multi-lane map pressure to stupid people in silver if they only know how to group mid and get caught for 30 minutes after laning phase?

Edit: With the useful yellow trinket disabled (the fuck riot), not even Shyvana can do this safely anymore. It's just too much for one person.

If you push a side lane they should only be able to come at you from ahead, behind, or to the side. buy a ward and place your trinket ward. when they run out, back, buy another ward, rinse repeat. GG

ahead usually has 2 paths the side 1 and behind 2 you can always choose the wrong jungle lane or brush hence pressure from teammates comes in. then they cant 5v1 you while the rest of your team dances near our tower rather than taking advantage of a 5 man distraction the blast you for getting ganked by 5 men

A ward is not going to cause your 4 teamates to react properly to your, or an enemy, splitpush.

Gold 5 but with a mix of silver, gold and that one guy who seems to perform amongst the best of bronze and got lucky. Kinda low elo, but not low enough to where people can't understand pressure.

it's because it's silver and top & adc are usually attached to their lanes. Pathetic ik. They are unaware of when laning phase is over and when it's time to group etc.

Common example: 20 minutes after laning phase is over and adc is solo pushing bot lane because of his attachment to it and lack of game knowledge and gets easily caught out while the support is trying to group with the team. ADC: "Would be nice if i actually had a support"

You wouldn't get caught if you had vision where you were splitting and retreated before you can get collapsed on. It's your fault if you get caught splitting, your team can't do anything about that.

You wouldn't get caught if you had vision where you were splitting and retreated before you can get collapsed on. It's your fault if you get caught splitting, your team can't do anything about that.

If Fiora gets murdered trying to ult onto the adc because their team has peel, then she can at least melt a tower with half a minion wave at least. Buuuuut if the crew has all come after her and no one is doing anything about it, go out in a blaze of glory.

But if you watch the minimap and pay attention to when the enemy team disappears you can just walk away while they send several people to where you used to be at zero losses for your team. Split pushing doesn't mean "push every wave all the way into the tower no matter what and hope your team can do the same."

And hey, if they're farming at least they're pushing waves, catching up, or gaining an experience lead while the other team deathballs around the map looking for picks.

But if you're dying to a goon squad regularly then it's your fault. Plain and simple. Your job when splitting is to pressure without dying, otherwise there's no point in splitting. Watch the minimap and don't go past the dark place without vision on at least 4 members of their team. It's a very simple concept.

That is all well and good, but think about it like this. You know you have the map pressure and can melt a tower the moment you get a wave to it. The enemy team knows that as well. However, your own team doesn't know how to abuse that information. They won't force a lane towards their side to keep them split. They won't put down any wards outside of a 1000 unit radius around whatever they're around. They'll put wards in bushes directly next to them.

When 4 people decide to leave after you have made progress, you don't really know where they'll come from since a 3 ward limit gives you only so many choke points such as from behind, a point on the river and the nearest lane entrance. It could be the entire team coming from one path you didn't ward and you won't know until its too late. Is your death worth it? No. Because your team is to petrified to even push up a wave. Sure the enemy team blows 3 ultimates on you, but you can bet your ass they will still find a way to win versus the 4 incompetents that matchmaking placed you with.

Grouping gets you killed. Doing things alone gets you killed slower. Not a way out from that.

IMO, a splitter should take TP if planning to splitpush. Wards are important but if you can't rely on your teammates to split the enemy up, you can do it yourself. Give yourself 5 seconds before the closest cc can get you, and poof, you're at bot lane (from top) while they run all the way down to get you (and you eat their bot turret during that time). I did that using revive/tele MasterYi and surprised myself by winning a few games with scores like 2/14/0

Funny that some mentioned the group mid mentality of silver... I dont know how many times ive told my team that other lanes exist but they dont usually beleive me.

He's you, and you're sitting around lying in bed while the magic beans that heal you are sitting on the dresser 2 steps away. Get up, go eat your beans, and ignore the fact that after 12 minutes in a silver game on SR it turns into ARAM. When your stupid teammates do stupid things utilize this time to do actual work on the map. All those times when they over extend without wards having just seen the entire enemy team approaching from the next lane over you should be able to accomplish some real objective taking. Your teammates at that level are cannon fodder. They are less than foot soldiers for shredder. They don't even qualify as sentient.

You don't need them below diamond.

As a Shyvana, getting an open inhibitor at 15 minutes and then taking it repeatedly is pretty cool.

It becomes much less cool when the enemy team only goes to whichever lane you're in since the rest of your team suffers from the darius AA bug, except they can't towers or dragon.

lol channeling into death 1 by 1 is something that still happens in higher elo, not just low elo. It's like a chain reaction.

team mate 1: engages a 1v1 that is really a 1v5 -instant death- team mate 2: oh shit they fucked up, now I need to go in to make it worth. -instant death- team mate 3: I can clean this up OMW -kills support, instant death- team mate 4: Team??? -painful death as he is kited while chasing the 10hp adc- Me: Time to show my superior adc mechanics and 1v4! -goes melee range on darius, death-

They stay mid, but they don't really 'do' anything outside of chill next to a tower, not ward up or take the very free dragon, not push out the opposite side lane or anything that'd make sense. Typing enough and not seeing any sort of change means they probably muted you or don't really understand that there's an opportunity. At that point, just hit /ff in between attempts at finding an objective to pressure while waiting for the inevitable.

I've found pings are more effective than chat, in general. If they are mad at you and not listening, use the simple alt ping once or twice near the objective you want them to take, so it doesn't have your name on it.

that's the point of distraction , the mid group is to distract them for as long as possible to not let them go anywhere else. that's also the point of split pushing when other objectives are down. like I said if u want pressure done do it ur self.

It seems like every time i play Jax/Trynd/Shyv/Other split pusher, all my team wants to do in life is group mid. If I ever get some momentum in top/bot on the turret, their goal becomes to back and abandon all lane pressure, letting me die. Then reporting me for not grouping. I'M NOT A CHAMP THAT GROUPS AND DOES ANYTHING IN TEAM FIGHTS! STOP FUCKING TEAM FIGHTING!

I played a game as a fed MasterYi and told the rest of my team to push mid as I push top (because I push faster than the rest of them)

Master of plans and smart Jarvan on my team decides to join me(WITH THE REST OF THE TEAM) up top so that the enemy team (which had kat by the way) could slaughter ALL of us instead of just one or all but one.

you gotta ping like a madman when you bring people to the lane your splitting. ping dragon, baron, or another lane. but be nice about it to, and tell people not to come to you. Also ward their jungle.

You have no idea how many times I just bang my head against my desk when my team declares "alright group mid" when there is a dragon to take, two line lanes pushing against us with towers to take, a jungle to clear, and all 5 members up to just sit under turret and infinitely wave clear as we accomplish nothing.

Even when one person gets smart enough to go split push, suddenly half the team backs, or goes to get blue buff or some such, then the split pusher dies, and nothing gets accomplished.

Even when I try to herd the cats, they tend to ignore me and all just rush mid over...and over...and over...and over...and over again.
