Use Downed Enemy Inhibitors To Your Advantage

The last game I played was very close. It started off with our bottom lane feeding super hard, and our jungler not doing much better. My friend (playing yasuo) and I (playing irelia) were having a wonderful time in lane and getting super fed. Even with us being fed by the 15 minute mark I figured we didn't have a chance. Their Nautilus and Braum were super tanky and their gangplank (adc) was tearing apart our bottom lane and jungler. However, we started killing gangplank (when I say we I mean my friend and the team as I was keeping teemo top), and we were gaining ground. The fights kept going in our favor as long as my friend or I were there to kill Gangplank.

They got our inhibitor down first (mid), and making a huge mistake didn't capitalize on our inhibitor being down. If they had all grouped and pushed another lane they would have taken more objectives because either their super minions would take our nexus turrets, or we would lose a 4v5 with someone staying mid. Either way they would have been able to get some more turrets. However, they kept splitting up getting caught out and letting my team catch up.

Now that my team had finally caught up we were able to turn the tide of the game (more or less). We won a huge team fight and then proceeded to take both their mid and bottom inhibitors. Now only their top inhibitor turret was up. This is where my team made a mistake. The smart play here would have been to take baron or all group top. I didn't want to risk losing a fight over baron, so I kept telling my team to group top. They would either defend their nexus turrets from the super minions and let us push down top, or they would come to defend top and our minions would take their base. No matter how many times I said this my team, aside from my friend, refused to listen. Needless to say they lost a 3v5 while my friend and I did baron having given up on trying to get them to follow us top, my friend died shortly after, and I couldn't defend the nexus alone (I may have if I wasn't getting 7fps).

Using downed inhibitors to your advantage will make winning the game so much easier. The enemy team could have won the game much sooner, and we could have come back from what at first seemed like a hopeless endeavor and easily won.
