RADS Error and Server Connections Issues

I know a lot of people have been having this problem, and half an hour ago I wasn't one of those people. Half an hour ago I was able to launch the client, but I was unable to log in (kept getting the whole attempt 1, 2, 3 unable to connect to server thing). It would be great if this could be sorted out as soon as possible (or at least get an update from riot about the issue). I know it isn't on my end because of two things. 1. Other people are having the same issue. 2. I was able to connect and play games just fine last night and nothing has changed on my end in between last night and now. So don't tell me that I need to fix or change something.

[EDIT] Someone on a different post about this issue said that they disconnected their router and then in 10-20 minutes and were then able to log back on. They also received their mystery gift at this time, so if you are having this issue and have not yet received your mystery gift (I have not yet received mine) it is possible that the mystery gift is the cause of the issue.

[EDIT2] Riot is now working to fix the issue.

MAC OSX? I was bug splatted in mid game........ couldn't log back in....... It's like the server went back to dial up......... then I tried repairing and then the application crashed all together....... I'm reinstalling now........summoner 11 item 3026

yep still having the problem and riot still hasnt admitted its on their end. to early in the morning for them to worry about doing anything i guess.

RADS Error: Could not connect to the HTTP Server. I have the same problem.

I didn't have this error yesterday, but as of right now I can't log in anymore. I'm getting the same error as you guys. I hope it will get fixed soon.

how do you know riot is working on the issue? they haven't even admitted they have one...

I assume we broke it by trying to log on to see the mystery gift all at once D:!

I just had the same issue because i received a mystery skin from riot (to my surprise). I just kept trying to log in and it eventually worked after 15 minutes.

Guys, if you are getting the login errors, just try restarting your router. It really does work! Unplug it and let it sit for about 5 minutes without cable or power connection, then plug it back up and you're golden.

Changing the DNS and Alternative DNS to the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4) fix that issue.

On Mac go to Network Advanced, go to the DNS tab and click on the plus (+) icon on the lower left corner, then add the 8.8.8.8, then do it again and type the 8.8.4.4. On windows is much easier, Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, then right click Properties, Internet protocol Verision 4 (TCP/IPv4), properties and change the DNS and Alternative DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. I hope it works for someone. P.S: Leave a comment if it worked for you.

I am still suffering in this issues and unable to connect to the server.

Still can't download LOL. It says the page is not available. I removed LOL before seeing this, and now can't download it :(

i got the RADs error as well and my end is good nothing wrong with it lol.idk but im new to this game and started playin 5 days ago.i started cause how much fun I hear this game is from friends,but this is the 3rd day I cant log in due to the RADs error. im bout rdy to say delete this game if this is the down time this game has. ill go back to wow and it sux cause I was likin this game and if I say screw it I will never play this again. if it is not fixed when I get home from work in 4-5 days im done with this. sad when tryin a new game and u start to like it a lot and bam days on end u cant play I mean wth

I deleted my RADS folder, ran setup and repair and it works for me.

i have the same problem i was just on not like 10 mins ago and i logged out to play a different game but a friend wanted to play with me and now i can't log back in
