HI =D I just played my first game ever with Zed. Was really looking forward to it, untill I saw the enemy team. Because I was up against Heimerdinger. SO wonder if any experienced Zed players can tell me how you beat Heimerdinger when you come up against him mid. I tried to poke him, but evertime I came close those damn turrets took 50% of my life before I returned to safety.
You don't want to poke him, at least not at first. Your WQ clears out his turrets effectively, and your passive does make you adept at farming under turret (since he will outshove you). You'll probably lose your turret, but that's okay: it's more or less par for the course against the Donger. Above all, youre an energy champion: abuse that. Clear his turrets all day, and he becomes much more vulnerable. He will rush a Zhonyas, however, so you'll have to work around that with your ult. In general, treat his turrets like his tower; unless you feel fed enough to towerdive him, don't go for him in the middle of his turrets.
