Soon, I am gonna reach the 6300 IP mark =D I havent quit decided on who I wanna buy. But Azir looks cool. Now, my friend who is diamond 4, said that he is really hard. The last time he said something similiar, was when I asked him about Elise . I ignored his advice, and bought her and I am regretting it ever since lol. But he also said the same about Kalista , but I dont find her as hard, and I actually enjoy her. Now, Azir looks really cool and he is good at csing with his soldiers, but I have heard that he is really hard to use, not just from my friend but from a lot of people here (mostly from comments). How hard is he to learn? Is he worth it? Is he FUN to use? What makes him hard to learn? Keep in mind that I started with LoL in september hehe :P

all champions are the same hard to learn or to play except your type of personality and the playstyle you allready learned might fit some champions better.

like, for some people azir might be super easy because they naturally have a mentality that fits azir and he might be super hard to near impossible for you to learn because your mentality doesnt fit him at all. it really depends on the player.

If you're new enough to the game that you're still buying Champions, Azir is going to be too much for you to handle. You'll likely get stomped over and over until you either give up, or get carried hard enough to be able to actually practice the champion.

Even now, I only play Azir in ARAMs or Coop vs. AI/Customs. I don't actively seek to play him.

Generally it isn't too hard to do some kind of output as him. Dealing damage is easy as his soldier autoattacks are great and his ultimate is generally amazing. He's also the most awesome champion in the game with the best voice actor. Azir

On the flipside, Azir can a little odd to approach as someone who doesn't play all-in midlaners. His staple combo has a lot of risks now that he got nerfed (his E doesn't do anything other than give him a shield for getting into danger), meaning that you need to always be making smart decisions. You may find yourself standing around doing nothing at critical points since you won't exactly know how to handle things in an organized manner.

I main Azir

You can pick him up in a week and be "Ok" with him.

He's one of the most fun champions I've played in the last five, almost six years of this game. The harsh reality is that he's very team-oriented. You cannot solo-carry as Azir, not reliably anyway. He's got an awful early-game, awkward mid-game, and a stellar late game. Team coordination turns Azir from a 43%-45% win rate champion to a 50% win-rate champion.

If you've got good reaction time, good map awareness, patience, and excellent teamwork, pick up Azir!

Azir is really cool and I love his style but I suck with him so much. The hard parts of Azir for me is that despite all appearances he is very vulnerable, striking out with your soldiers means moving them away from yourself opening you up to enemies just jumping you and auto attacking with them forces you to stand still. Not to mention the range to command the soldiers is never specified so sometimes when you attempt to stab enemies you run at them. Azir is a strange champion where he is very strong as long as enemies are within his soldiers range, but as soon as they take a step out all that power goes away.

If you are dead set on going for Azir then go for it but he is very hard to use, pros have obviously taken him far but I and many other people have to put in a lot of work to just not suck with him.

Azir is tough to play. Decided to give up on him since riot said they were going to change him

Dont get Azir their is better options for poke champions with lane dominance don't look for someone to sell a champ to you, look at a champ on the wiki and try to get a feel for them, if you need to make yourself want him then you don't want him.

If you're going for fun and visuals, go for Azir , but if you're going for playability, go for someone easy to play like Annie or Garen

I have been really grinding my Azir recently to get better with him and I can say he is fun, buuuut if you are looking for a Zone Control Mage for learning on I would not reccomend him whatsoever. I personally really enjoy Anivia and she's not too hard to pick up and learn with.

If you really are set on Azir then be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to learn him and how to properly use him in all instances.
