He's a mixed bag. Bad against some top ranged characters, and once you hit 6, an ungodly nightmare for others. Great against super tanks as mentioned by those before me, but people like Riven make you cry.

I main Riven and I agree that I don't lose. The thing is, is that if trundle gets fed jg and i get fed top, he sometimes wins 1v1

The only reason why I don't play Trundle top is because he's boring to play lol. Just auto attacking non stop... is just tiresome to me. He's strong though, I'll give you that. Once you get passed the item 3153 , you'll be able to duel pretty easily.

he usually takes a hit when his teamates decide to back and leave him pushing in front those 2 secodns it takes to regiester and back can do alot if not hitting anything. hardly anyone pings back then backs they usually run away until they are safe then pings

Map awareness fixes this problem tbh

Trundle can be a god or absolutely worthless. It all depends on what you need to do with him. In this current tank meta he can easily be a god. Rush a tiamat and a sheen and just stay in your lane until you win the game. He can absolutely destroy towers and with the tiamat he can push forever. He's incredibly light on cc so if you need lockdown look elsewhere. If you wanna club tanks to death or split push forever then trundle is for you.

don't take him vs an AP laner. He is great against more pure tanks or AD bruisers, but AP laners are bad news for him.

trundle is strong mostly vs meele but i have a few builds that i find work for him. hyper life steal, critical (its very hard to pull off and people will harass you alot early for trying it highly snowball reliant then you can build def for last 2 items) and the tank.

He's pretty flexible and great for killing tanks. In addition, he's a fantastic duelist and not many can stand against him in a 1v1 unless they can kite him.

If it helps, I like taking Health Regen quints into lane. Combined with a Doran's Shield and your passive, you are pretty much impossible to shove out of lane.

I've been watching him on youtube, and it looks like building him as a AD lifesteal duelist is pretty succesful, but he is versatile and can go tanky
