Highest DPS champion and highest burst champion?

Does anyone know what the highest sustained dps champion would be? Or what champion has the highest short burst of dmg? I've been playing around in the Practice mode with target dummies and keep cooldown timers at their normal rate and seeing how much sustained dps I can do with champions. I have been also been doing the same with burst champions but just doing the normal burst rotation and ceasing attacking and checking the total damage dealt number.

Heimerdinger In practice mode you can confirm this. He has both the highest sustained dps and burst I believe.

On the other hand. In a real game, if his turrets go down, his dps falls significantly. Also buy Magic pen. In games where I've invested in 50+ magic pen, I notice a triple dps output. (Upwards of 200k against champions alone in a single 20-30 minute game against real players.)

Build: item 3020 item 3151 item 3116 item 3089 item 3285 item 3135 The downside to this build is the lack of sustain. This is a dps-only build. (Mana means less if you can keep turrets up.) In a non-snowballing game, just build tankier AP based on the opponent. Abyssal Mask seems to be efficient in this regard.

Beyond that, any champ with infinite scaling technically.

Kayle . Spawn a training dummy in practice and try out different champs. I was doing 2050dps to the target dummy which doesn't factor in the fact she hits multiple targets with her E.

How could you forget Rumble? Or Fiddlesticks? Both of them have two DoTs that they can have on at the same time! You guys didn't even mention Teemo!

MissFortune with item 3071 item 3036 item 3031 item 3508 item 3072 item 3812

390 Total Bonus AD 40% chance of Critical Strike 35% bonus armor pen 24% maximum armor shred

Land her ult on the full team of 5 and she'll deal massive damage to the entire enemy team over 3 seconds.

Veigar might have single-target with his ultimate, Lissandra might be more up front, but burst doesn't necessarily have to be instant (still within 5 seconds IMO).

Extra math: Bullet Time deals (35% bonus AD)(20% AP) per wave and firing 16 waves over 3 seconds (rank 3). Can Critically Strike for 120% damage (130% with IE)

With items, that's 136.5 physical damage per wave. After 16 waves, 2184 total damage. Assuming 40% of waves critically strike (6.4 rounded to 6), 245.7 additional damage (new total of 2429.7 damage).

That's over 10,000 raw damage, assuming it's fully channeled onto 5 targets.
