I have no idea how to stop Ahri if we didn't pick a comp with enough point and click single target stun.

It is literally a loss in champ select. Not even Kalista is this bad. Not even Nidalee. Imagine Nidalee having a hard CC and AOE spears. How fking broken would that be? Well that's Ahri.

We shut her down early. She gets 1 kill. Then she goes from 0-4 to 9-5, and the rest is history. The rest of their team was also shut down.

I just don't know how to beat her. She can kite Master Yi and Zed. There's no other champ in the game that can solo kite them, not even Vayne and Kalista. Point and click CC? You can't even get in range to use it because all she has to do is throw Q's for waveclear, and most champs with point and click CC have either been gutted, or are too short ranged. The only one is Annie, who HAS to snowball to be relevant late game - but good luck with that against Ahri. And if you get her low, but die in the process? Nope, she has free spellvamp and is back at full HP.

Its like there's nothing I can do against Ahri except solve the problem in champ select by banning her.

Play Malzahar and destroy her....it is really that easy. Play safe and farm like usual until 6, dodge her Charm...if she still tries to go in just ult her then ignite her then E her and most of the time it's enough to kill her.

how do you dodge her charm if she ults and point blanks you?

how do you stop her if you aren't mid?

The fact that Annie is consistently picked as support is proof that she doesn't need to snowball to be useful. Flash+Tibbers doesn't need to take away half your health to be great.

As for dodging charm, know what her combo is. When she's poking in lane it's EQW with AAs. When she's going to ult you she opens with W, then does the REQ. You can also plan ahead. When she hits 6 you have to be prepared. Ask yourself whenever she gets within 1000 range "what do I do if she tries to wombo combo me right now?" If your answer is some flavor of "idk she's op" then back off. Or use some sort of gap closer and blow her up first. She's squishy and if she gets caught with her pants down, well, we've all seen those pictures on the internet.

She's incredibly squishy, and has normal mobility when her ult is down. At that point her only CC is charm, which is a skill shot. Dodge it or hit your CC first.

You couldn't have put it better ^_^ The other trick can also be to play a champion with greater range than she. I main Zyra mid and consistently do well against Ahri with her. The key is to poke her down to discourage her from wanting to engage. A lot of the time an Ahri player with R TOWARDS you in a straight line rather than strafing you for the advantage. Use that opportunity to lay down some good CC. Charm is also a pretty slow (not too slow but enough) and easy to dodge. As with any champion if it looks like your lane opponent is setting up for a combo, use minions or tower to your advantage. Ahri is only a problem if you don't pay attention. Like you said, look for her tell-tale signs and you will do well.

In regards to the first sentence, that can be said about A LOT of champions in the game. How do you avoid Blitzcrank when he activates W and barrels towards you at full speed to E and Q you? How do you avoid maximum damage when LeBlanc Q's then W's you with no warning? Etc, etc, etc.

Not EVERY Ahri player is going to do that. Each player plays the champion differently. All YOU need to do is be careful in mid lane and use precaution after level 6. Make it hard for her to go in on you with either poke or CC. Use minions to dodge charm or if she does as you stated, you will have time to back off into tower. Then again you shouldn't really be so far in lane that she will be able to do that to you unless you are playing a melee midlaner. I don't ever really have trouble with Ahri as a ranged mid laner.

And if you are not mid, then look for an opportunity as a Jungler to shut her down when she is not expecting it. Ahri can be very easy to gank if her ult is down, so wait for that time. As other lanes....Just be safe and come team fights use your teams CC to an advantage and position in a way where she cannot get to you easily. Remember, once her ult is down she doesn't have much if you are ranged or have a hard gap closer. As an ADC you should be fine if you position properly. In the end it is all about positioning. Positioning is everything.

you are bronze, do you really, really think a plat team simply can't handle a champ, unless that champ is truly broken? I don't like to bring in rank unless low elos say stupid shit like this.
