Trying to get gold through maining Miss Fortune, need help

Ive tried for the past month to get gold through maining MF. I climbed from bronze 1 to silver 2 and now am in limbo between silver 3 and 2. I have a hard time carrying due to the fact that I'm having a hard time utilizing my farm to win games. MF cannot dive someone without blowing flash, so I am dependant on others to either cc or be a front wall for me regardless of how fed I am. Games where my mid and top do poorly are especially difficult for many reasons. fed MF vs fed mid or top still dies every time, and my feeding top or mid are often disheartened after performing poorly and are unable to be an effective front line when behind.

I really wanted to prove to myself that I could get gold with MF, despite everyone telling me "just play vayne" or "adc cannot carry " or "play a champ with a dash". All the pro's meanwhile are just straight up mocking the character as being trash from cutiepie to doublelift they all say don't play her in solo queue.

I'll take any advice. At this point Im sharing my ambition with the community out of desperation. Right now it feels impossible >.<
