How can I deal with Ranked (Question)

Ok so here it is. I've been playing league sense around the time braum came out in season 4, I've been playing nothing but normals every day and practicing to get as decent as I possibly can while not setting the bar too high for myself trust me I'm not material to join the LCS so all I want to manage is to get into atleast silver and I'll be happy with myself. I've currently played well over 1000 normal games and I have a general ratio of 2 to 1 win/loss ratio which I'm proud of (maybe worst if I'm just having an off day). Back when I hit lvl 30 I read an online guide of getting started in ranked and 1 thing I took heavy note of is the tip to play as many games as possible to get practice and to be atleast half way decent in any role incase you have to take on that role, so after i reached rank 30 I have spent all of my time sense then practicing every role as much as possible and even decided I would purely fill for the provisional games instead of calling a lane, And today after I've had some recent confidence so I felt it was time to go play ranked and see if my skills are worthy of the glorious silver banner I want and I'm already horribly regretting it. so far I've played 3 provisional matches and lost 2 out of 3 (only reason it wasn't 3 out of 3 is because the enemy yasuo had no clue how to deal with a Malzahar :P) and in both lost matches the problems were obvious, I'm not going to say my teammates were bad because I've never been one of those guys who flamed his teammates but it was obvious that most of them were still inexperienced specifically the ADC's in the games who looked like they had never actually went bot before and simply picked up any ADC champion they had available and said "Yolo".... infact with the second match I'm actually positive that that's what happened. So to end off this long and whiny clusters of words my question is simply what can I do to prevent losing games due to teammates?

EDIT 1- So far things aren't looking good, I just lost my third match and this time not due to my entire team doing bad but instead poor calls made by our ADC and the guy who went support decided to go Teemo support

ranked anxiety is something which everyone gets... and let me tell you first of all im not the best player in the world so this advise may not even be that helpful. ranked anxiety is like any other anxiety really. you get yourself all worked up over something soooo small and in ranked, you then start making small mistakes which cost you the game. My advise to you is just play ranked. dont procrastinate and tell yourself you'll play tomorrow or next week because by that time you'll still be scared and then you will put playing ranked off even longer. Just jump into a game of ranked. has anyone in this community ever said to you that you have to get silver in this season. no, so dont rush friend just take your time and constantly open yourself up for improvement and then over time you will get your banner that you want.

i wish you the best of luck :)

I'd suggest you keep in mind that the enemies have the same kind of players. You said you won a game because your enemy had no clue how to deal with malzahar. you lost games becasue your teammates had no clue how to deal with their respective opponents. I guess you have improved in normals to quite a decent extent but most people that play their provisionals have between 100 and 250 normal wins. and theyre bad. but your enemy team will get them more likely. Realizing this is the biggest step to improve. your team doesnt matter ,the enemy team doesnt matter, since it'll eventually not only even out but work in your favor that your elo includes trolls/afks etc. you gotta focus on your mistakes. if you lose a game despite doing well, watch a replay and look what you couldve done better to snowball your lead. and also keep in mind that you cant win every game anyway

So it has taken me 2+ seasons to go from bronze 4 to plat 5 where I just got in to. So when playing your provisionals, the game is trying to place you. So you may play against plats or golds one game then bronze and silvers. So if there are others doing provisionals with you that aren't relatively experienced then there is a fair chance of you losing. My suggestion is to chug along on ranked and mute any ragers right away. After the first bad thing they say, mute them. Because more than likely the next thing they say will be neg. as well. And my other suggestion is to pick 3 champions and try to get really good with them. Preferably ones that are flexible like LULU ( can go to all lanes) or Lee ( can do mid, jung, top and support with practice) or Zed. Good luck!

WOW....

You are so completely over-thinking this dude. Don't worry so much about your placements, you are going to get bad matches, ESPECIALLY if they are your first ranked placements as it starts putting you with various people to see how you do and where it should place you.

You don't need to worry so much. You could try duo queue ranked with a friend off and on where he loses five games, and then win 3/5 of your other placements and lose some due to afks and feeders and STILL be in Silver. Though I heard that people are just going to be placed low this season anyway so it doesn't matter. ** Ranked is not about where you are placed, but how you climb.**
