How to kite better?

Is there like, a better way to kite than just clicking on way and clicking another? Especially as Kalista, because I could accidentally click in front of me(which happens often), and then I'm pretty much dead from that point. Is there another way to kite like that? I can get A+Click but that would only be for chasing, right?

On Kalista, you pretty much always want to shift+click when you're not farming.

There is no easy alternative to kiting, all it is is just time, practice, and learning.

Your kiting becomes muscle memory.
