Reminder that the tendons on the mouth of the xenomorphs (Alien Franchise) are made from shredded condoms. This is one of the most well-known monsters/creatures in nearly any franchise.

Also, the face-huggers, were made from various actual animal body parts (stomachs, spleens, etc), so it's not like the effects crew couldn't have used actual tendons on the alien.

I'd imagine that they just use the raw recording but edited the EQ, reverb, distortion, ect. But yea, speaking as a composer, if I was composing an electronic piece and was stuck on a particular sound; I could see my self doing this for sure in the right setting. For example, I'm in my garage (which I sometimes use as a recording area), which is where I keep my dog food, had a condom in my wallet\pocket, and had left over beans from dinner, I'd probably try it out.

Condom is a lot easier to fill than say a balloon. Condoms can also take a beating much more than a balloon can.

I concur. How this post is stated obviously shows that this is supposed to be enforced upon as true. The op post states several very good reasons to believe why this could be the case. Some things I noticed the op did not explain will be explained now

A- Rioters have sex all the time. The amount of condoms they have lying around is actually insane

B- This is a very little known fact; Riot Meddler is a dog! When he doesn't eat his dog food because he was too busy ripping out the necks of other failed rioters (creating an environment of fun and fear), the others have to get creative with his kibbles

C- Beans cost 99 cents.

D- The riot team is actually a College sorority, which explains their constant sex, their lovable Lead designer Labrador dog, and their tendency to have cheap food lying around (not in a garbage can, ofcourse. It's college!). It also explains why riot is always shoving random things into condoms and slapping those condoms against other things (usually each other)(sororities amirite).
