Hey all, I've started to main riven and I really like her. But my issue is she seems very hard to pick up IMO. So many people say riven is just a faceroll but those people are probably those who cant play her to save their lives. Is there any tips you ladies and gents can give me? Building wise, combo wise, when to go in, trading, etc. I'll usually go teleport and start dorans blade and go to do wolves, buy pots, and tp back top to have great sustain. . Thanks in advance!
the biggest part of taking riven from a face roll champ to an amazing outplay champ is layering auto attacks between her abilities and positioning her well based off her Q uses. Her passive is amazing but you have to be good at using it. Her Q is amazing but it requires a lot of practice using it to hit the enemy and at the same time re-position your champion to dodge abilities or help you chase. Basically just keep playing / practicing her and try to layer auto attacks. The positioning with Q will come with time.
