more gold efficent than sight stone and its not gonna take up any more space for everyone to get it. but people wait to upgrade it last or not at all-------------------------------

With all the item 2044 people buy they could easily pay for item 3361 and buy a item 2043 if they badly want stealth vision.

Pink wards are the most gold efficient items in the game. I've had those things last 20-25 mins.

ive warded pinks 5 mins in and they lasted till the game ended even among watching lcs people like to pass over pinks

I don't know, see in LCS I've noticed they do that. However, I think it's because if your opponent placed a pink ward in non-advantegeous spot, it's better to deny him placing a new pink in a better place.

if the ward saw you it was advantageous cause it got some vision you not killing the ward doesnt deny him switching the ward places river wards are not disadvantageous spots and lcs pros walk over them all the time. in lcs just like in normals only time people try to take the ward is when carries see the support about to get some gold so they got to steal it.

One time in EU LCS (I think it was FNC vs someone), a pink ward was placed in one of the top bushes, and it was left there for like the whole game. I think that was a bad place to put a pink, and he just left it there. You are right about river wards, but not always can you afford to stick around for 5 hits. Yeah I know they can switch out the pink, but it's all about the mind games? I don't know, speaking out my ass here probably.

You talking about the support buying that? Because as a support I would buy sightstone scanner, but everyone else should upgrade trinket at level 9 because yellow trinket is possibly the most op item in the game.

Tell me. How many times a game do you actually use a scanner? I've watched a lot of games, I see them use it like 3-4 times. You can put down 16 Vision Wards for the cost of a Sight Stone and people clearly dont need that many. Money better spent towards actual USEFUL gear.

Further, a vision ward provides a sustained vision on the map. Lens farts out after 5 seconds, just long enough for a pathetic sightstone using support to solo kill 1 stealth ward.

my only problem is that I ALWAYS forget about it and kick myself the whole time for doing so. it's so ridiculously gold efficient, especially if lane phase is still going.

item 3361 The only time I don't buy this item is that one week it was disabled I cried and was scared to go anywhere because I forgot to buy wards on my backs because I'm so used to my maphacks item 3151

heh the nice thing about playing this for so long is that you know the usefulness of wards and when it would and wouldn't be safe to face check. 1st off if you're vayne and your nautilus top is fallowing behind you for the love of god let him check the bush 1st..

Buying Sightstone as a carry champion is even more stupid than buying triple Dorans.

Sightstone is for gold efficiency for supports and sometimes junglers.

Carries should buy a couple wards until level 9, upgrade their trinket, and buy the occasional pink. They'll probably spend less than 800 gold on vision doing so, they don't need the sightstone.

Besides, how it works is that sightstone requires an early gold sink, carries are supposed to spend gold here and there to spread it out while they get their core items.

I've seen this post so often that I wonder who I am getting matched with. My teammates seem to ward sufficiently - I've never had the feeling that I'm the only one warding. Sure, when behind the opponents often control our jungle and sweep our vision, but whatever.
