How to beat Fiora in lane?

Disclaimer: This isn't a fiora rage thread. Im genuinely asking for ways to survive and beat her

Are there any tips on ways to shut fiora down? Besides just ganking and turtling--which even dont work out sometimes either? It's just that nearly all cases ive played against fiora she just always forces me on all fours, always slaps a collar around my lane, tugs on a leash and spanks it with her ruler and its like nothing i can do and people are always raging "Hey omg feeder top feeder sh+tty feeder noob stop dieing retard omg f+cking idiot feeder gg" etc but its like.... she gets nearly 200 AD before she hits level 6 while im barely finishing 1 item. "Stay under turret" well she dives me under turret because of her ult, ridiculous AD scaling, and health regen. Ive started playing her just in case i blind match against her. I mean is there any counter play to this? D:

Best champions and ways to itemize against her?

Fiora is like Riven, don't feed her or get denied super hard and you win lane. Fiora needs to snowball to be relevant later in the game. There's little in this game more pathetic than a Fiora that ults into your team and barely leaves a dent.

Absolute easiest way to beat her is to use Jax. Before 6 just farm and don't try to go ham on her and if she dashes onto you then E and stick to her for easy outtrade. After 6 save your E until she ults you cause your E will block her entire ult leaving you to just poop all over her.

Garen is my favorite. Go in and trade with her with q,e,w.. Walk out and let your passive heal you then do it again.

Armor first. Damage later.

If you're a tank, get tabis and bamis (rhyme intended). Cloth 5 start is great.

If you're a mage, rush zhonyas. Use the active on her ult and she'll have a hard time killing you.

If you're a damage oriented carry (Riven, Yasuo, etc) then you just need to outplay her. Build armor if you're behind because that's an extremely snowbally matchup and if you fall behind you can't catch up, so you may as well at least try to exist.

If you're a bruiser (Irelia, Jax, etc) then cloth 5 and rush your frozen heart or randuins before building your first damage item and you'll shit on her.

Heh, Fiora. When I'm jungling and dragon isn't an issue at the time (either when it's dead or heavily warded so it can't be sneaked), I love ganking Fiora. I mean, what's she going to do to escape? Flash away? Granted, if she's already fed I wouldn't want to give her a double kill, but if I'm playing correctly it should be an easy gank.

But typically to beat Fiora you want some armor and maybe some health, then damage later. Unless you're a snowballing top laner like Fiora is, your goal is to prevent her from snowballing so she can't faceroll your team in teamfights. If you're a tank, lock that bitch down during ganks or teamfights.

Some good items include item 3068 (she's melee, so the passive is just as good as the stats) item 3110 (she aa's a lot. Outside her ult, she only has her Q. She's not much of a caster) item 3047 (one of the rare instances I would recommend these) item 3143 (same as frozen, but even better for ganks or if you don't have mana) item 3071 (good for HP bruisers without mitigating your damage) item 3157 (if you're AP)

Don't try to trade with her at level 2.

Rush item 3047. Don't engage in long trades with her. GG

When I'm against her, farm as hard as you can before she hits level 6, and get some early armor and/or health. Champions with some hard cc would work very well like this, if you can survive her all in and ulti even at very low hp, a stun while shes under tower should be able to get her, or at least have her back off, and / or give you time to run.

Depends on situation, if you can rely on your jungle just pick something with high base damage and armor. Like nautilus/jarvan/maokai/shen. But if its most likely that top will be an isolated island then pick something that can win or she will just keep vamp'ing. Maybe ryze,riven,quinn,lissandra,

I would refrain from using an autoattack reliant champion in the top lane. Champs like Rengar Tryndamere MasterYi etc can have quite a hard time with her reposte in the early game. I'm not saying don't pick any of these champs, because if you can bait out her E then you can fight her. It's also worth mentioning that Jax counterstrike when timed correctly will make Fiora do no damage, that plus an ignite before she ults will shove her rapier right up her ass.

Rule #1: Do not just autoattack. Wait for her to burn riposte, THEN hit her.

Rule #2: She has AD, she has damage; she has no CC. If you have any form of CC, use this to land some extra damage. If she goes in, remember rule #1 and try to fight as you run (or straight up fight her if you can)

Rule #3: Take advantage of range. If you play, for example, Gnar , throw a boomerang her way as many times as you can.

Rule #4: Thornmail. She is almost COMPLETELY reliant on autoattacks, so thornmail should give you an advantage. Randuins and frozen heart work as well, since they reduce attack speed and provide a lot of defense versus her.

Trundle Can do very well against her, since he can remove some of fiora's AD while gaining more. Jax is a skill matchup, Jayce seems like he can push her around (knock her away with hammer form, shoot her constantly in cannon form), and any champion that normally builds tank should do fine against her (just remember to go something like randuin's first.)

Many bruisers can out-trade her early and keep her from snowballing. If you keep her afraid of you instead of the other way around, you will win lane. It's a bit like playing against Riven.

Only time I've played Nocturne top I wrecked her hard. The enemy Fiora was kind of terrible, but anyway it worked great lol. Maybe try him?

I always play garen into fiora, definitely a super hard counter if played correctly, start item 1054 or item 1029 and walk close and spin into fiora when they try to last hit. Use q while spinning for the movespeed. A good tactic also is to bait her W by activating q but don't attack her just spin, then attack her after. Once you get one kill on fiora you can zone her easy.

As a Shen main, meele adc are one of my favorite lanes. Shen requires you to play safe and while he should kill his enemy laner until 2 or 3 items, they should kill him either. Fiora is a assassin and needs kills to be relevant, and Shen shouldn't give her those kills. I rush thornmail so we can trade equally, and then pick up sunfire and all in her ( and I can force fights because of my taunt), after that I build whatever I need ( Visage, Omen, any boots I need, Bork). Just for the love of god : Do not try to trade with her without the proper armor or she will get kills and snowball.

Well i main fiora and if you are looking for champs to counter her . I'd say her top 3 are Malphite, Pantheon, Nasus. Just general tips on how to beat her is to exploit her cooldown's.... Dont expect to go a squishy top against fiora and expect to win lane , she has high burst before she has dps. If you are a melee dont fight her lvl 2. You can fight her lvl one but dont at lvl 2. if you are ranged do your best to poke her down early game. kennen does really well also but he can also be wrecked if misplayed before he gets zhonya's.. Time her cooldowns. Bait her w . when she activates e run back then re engage.... there's several things you can do against her. if she hits lvl 6 before you and you are under half health she will kill you if she has ignite and you are at 3/4'ths health you will die. Itemization dont rush a thornmail unless you are innately tanky... she will rip through it. Lets say you play garen . it's an even match up until around lvl 3-4 you get the advantage if she hasn't killed you. if she has then lane is probably over... Start cloth 5 into a chain vest or wardens mail. randuin's into thornmail is one of the strongest defenses against fiora. she wont' be able to do much. keep in mind this is if she's not ahead and you want to trade with her. tanks ... fiora hates tanks. the only match up that i truly have problems with is malphite... jax i exploit his e cooldowns.... pantheon you win at 6.... nasus you can win early game. but a competent malphite will shit on fiora everytime... start ap dont start tanky... and then max e or q .

also you can go for ranged or mage type champs, zone her, and just watch out for her all in.
