...don't load into a game just to quit it 5 minutes later because you have to leave for school--or anything in general that clearly does not allot you enough time to play. I mean if you know youve got to leave for something, be it for school, work, a sex change operation; if you know you cant stay for the whole game or even longer than 5 minutes, why load into a game? Why be trying to play at all? Is it really so bad to just go to a bot game, or load a custom game with bots?

"TRELOLOL UTZ N8T R4NKD HWQ C3RAS?!?!?" I certainly care because ranked or not i want to enjoy my time whatever mode it is. Sucks that you have school/work but don't ruin MY day off. It just makes you a complete dick going into a game when you KNOW you don't have enough time to play it. No one should do that for any reason. It's simply not fair to everyone else especially if they would be nice enough to do YOU that common courtesy. I'm not trying to mother my kid while i afk in your game; I play when i know i dont have to.

Edit: I understand some things spontaneously show up that need attention, and thats fine. What is not fine or justifiable is KNOWING you don't have any time to play, but youre trying to play anyway just to end up quitting the game shortly after it begins.

I never quite understood why people do this, but sadly they are out there. But this isnt only for people in school. Grown adults who need to go to work full off this. just really annoying. Usually the rule of thumb is "If you cant commit at least an hour to play a match dont play"!

The problem with the younger generation is the fact that they don't really understand how league is. They think its the same as Halo, COD, BF etc. where they are used to leaving because in those games they allow other players to take your place on the team if you leave.

I just don't think those people understand that league is different in the regard.

At least goto aram... Most casual game mode ever... Though I'd prefer you not load in at all... (You can practice cs'ing in customs... totally viable option) (Directed at school children and not OP if that wasn't clear)

Man this post is completly backwards. IT should be like this;

"kids, if you have to go to school and you load a game, DON'T. It will mess your head and diminish your capacities at school. Instead, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Remember, LoL won't make you a better man/woman, but school will!"

I don't even believe in the truth of these excuses anymore (not that they're valid even if they were true). If you've played as many games as I have, you'll notice a trend that many of these "I gotta go to "insert whatever place" people tend to be from games that are going badly.

Why not just show some honesty and say "I'm a sore loser" instead? Not that it's gonna stop the 9 reports either way. It's really like the "LAG" excuse for dying instead of acknowledging outplays now, it's become too conveniently timed to actually believe anymore.

If you have a relative time limit like you have to Absolutely get off in 40+ minutes i play ARAM

and if you have less then 30 minutes just dont play

sometimes I have to leave because my parents don't give me any warnings and I have to eat, not my fault if I'm in a 60+ min game

Had two people in game feed super hard but refuse to surrender. They were pre-made jungle and top, and jungler would exclusively gank top and neglect all other lanes and objectives, and they still managed to feed top lane. 30 minutes roll by and suddenly we start winning! This is the turn around.

"Hey can we surrender, me and the top laner are at school and have to go to class"

C'mon guys. Why didn't you just surrender at the 20 minute mark when everybody else wanted to and there was no hope against a fed team that YOU fed? Why surrender 10 minutes later when we can actually win? Why start a game half an hour before class starts?

I have tried reporting people for this, as I find it extremely offensive, but I have never gotten the notice back from Riot that confirmed the player being punished. Gives the impression they don't care, even if they do (and in my opinion, they do).
