top with TP, harass the hell out of your opponent with E, tp gank your bot lane when possible, profit.
Seriously, master Swain and have a good understanding of other roles to some extent and you will escape.

Mysticman891 votesI feel like you could replace swain in that post with pretty much any top lane champion and the same group of tips would mostly apply. To get out of silver, learn to play (a champion) at a gold level or higher, do so, profit.
Top/jungle champions tend to have more team carry potential as they're often tanky enough to not be instagibbed if someone else on your team feeds, but really if you play at gold+ in any role you'll get there eventually.

In lower elo's, people don't care much for learning champions they rarely play against. For example, if you played against a Yi everygame and he destroyed you each time you would get so upset to the point where you would want to learn how to counter him . . . but if you played against a Swain and he destroyed you on game and you played against him again 100 games later and the same thing happened you would brush it off (Atleast thats what i observe in lower elos)>
