Your favorite (Season 5) Leona build?

I've taken a real liking to Ms. Sunshine.

Naturally you want to get Face of the Mountain, probably either Mercury's Treads or Ionans, and lots of wards, but what else do you find works best for you and why?

A very fun build. W ->E ->auto-> Q-> auto-> Hydra-> auto-> R-> Auto.

Although for support role. Gives 40% Cdr and you play the disrupting role. item 3401 item 3111 item 3143 item 3190 item 3110 item 2045

i suggest selling face of the mountain when you can afford to... there are better shield items and talisman of ascension has a way more useful passive

Hmm, kind of depends game by game and what the enemy team has but I'll share. *As a side note I also start the game with 10% cdr with runes/masteries.

Ad heavy team: item 3401 item 3047 item 3143 item 2045 item 3065 item 3025 Mixed team: item 3111 or item 3009 item 3102 or depending on enemy spells. item 3512 AP heavy team: item 3190 item 3800

Still experimenting with the Zz'Rot Portal, but it's a fairly cheap item with good armor and magic resist. I find it hard to make full use of though since it's better as a 2nd or 3rd item before many towers go down, and the 2nd and 3rd item slots are needed for hp items I find. I'd be taking it instead of Randuins and I don't know how I feel about that yet.

I never would've thought to get the Z-Portal. Kind of a counter-intuitive choice, I think, but I can see how it would be good for pushing the lane if there's enough gold for it early on. Once again I see that upping AP isn't much of a priority in the support role. And I agree with getting the Ruby Sightstone but those stealth wards don't beat stealth, do they? Better to just carry around a lot of pink wards if you know you're going to content with Twitch/Teemo/Akali etc.?

I pick up pink wards through out the game and upgrade my red trinket to help combat stealth. Generally the enemy team surrenders before I have the chance to get full build and run out of room for pink wards though haha.

Getting and upgrading the red trinket is definitely something I need to start doing.

I guess just the idea of spending that much gold on something that doesn't give a big health buff (in Leona's case).

So none of you would build sunfire cape? But it's sunfire, and it's Leona! I mean.... somehow I knew that didn't figure into a solid support build.

Presuming the enemy has balanced magic and physical damage and reducible CC,

item 3401 item 3111 item 3110 item 3190 item 2045 + one situational item. You want CDR cap if you are going really tanky, since then your CC is the only thing to keep the other team from ignoring you. Ionian boots are usually not needed though, as lots of defense items have CDR.

item 3401 item 3110 item 3190 gives you 40% CDR.
