Jungle suggestion?

So thinking of adding another jungler to my rotation and was wondering about shyv vs skarner w/ current balance. I like champs that have control or focus objectives and stuff to win (love nunu jungle) and don't mind having to scale up a bit or get some levels to hit my power spikes (also love amumu jungle, although stats on him on this account are terrible, I relearned him on my second account in slightly lower elo and he's so much fun.). Even though it's kind of a stupid gimmick I actually like the idea of being stronger around the spires if you can control them and get them ahead of forcing a fight around baron/dragon (although I'm not sure how much they really make a difference in the fight given that I haven't played him).

However, Shyv seems possibly stronger right now, and less likely to get hit w/ nerfs due to people still being frustrated to skarner even though some people think he isn't that strong any more w/ the nerfs, and Shyv having so little pressure early game that it can be easier to punish her team before she scales up. I'm not sure which to pick up though bc my early game pressure isn't the best so I'm not sure I'd get any out of Shyv (habit from playing Amumu and Nunu who can put pressure down, but also have tons of strength by getting 6 early or sneaking early dragons/invading respectively), while at the same time I've never really played skarner even on free week or anything so I don't know how difficult he would be for me to pick up or really if I'd struggle with his play style/what his play style is.

Help?

Shyvana, as a fighter, is all about stat checking people. Her kit is designed to handle all three parts of the damage triangle but she can't use all three at the same time, at least not to the same effectiveness as true carries or true tanks. She's faster than almost everybody, her hybrid damage DPS is massive, her AD burst build is stupid, and she gains a lot of innate tankiness through her Passive and Dragon.

In terms of controlling or focusing objectives, Shyvana's versatile enough to allow builds based solely on objectives. I took this to the extreme earlier in the season and actually managed to go positive (7/12), so I'm pretty sure if you were to actually balance her build, you can pull off some solid objective control as well.
