It's not cheating It's using your resources
It's like you know, if you were to buy health or resistance
No matter what I take exhaust in Aram/Dominion. nearly nobody takes it so nodoby expects it and its the only thing to save me from the Katarina or Akali or Zed or Yi that is ALWAYS on the enemy team.

Yes, and this also applies to midlane and very useful on Zed, Yasuo, and a lot of other assasins.
People rage at me when I take exhaust in similar situations. Jungle Yi with exhaust means you can 1v1 anyone no matter how fed they are. Makes getting onto the adc easy with smite slow + exhaust.
