Ranged Indiator with smarcast

So what I want to do is, being able to use the ranged indicator without showing the range all the time. Like for example, when I play morgana and press q quickly, I still see the range of the q for a brief second and then the binding travels forward. I saw some pros use the ranged indicator, but they dont seem to have that problem. In other words, what I wanna be able to do is have the range show when I have Q pressed and when I want to use it like I would with normal smartcast, I just quickly tap it. Thanks

There's a box you can check that will help. It will make it so that when you hold down the ability key, it will show the ranged indicators. If you release the button, the ability will go off. If the circumstances change and you don't want to use the ability anymore (such as because the target moved out of range), just move your champion with right click and it should turn off the indicator and you'll be safe to release the key without using it.

I think I wasn't being clear enough. What I want to do is seeing the range when I have the key held down, but when I want to spam the ability (when I just quickly tap it), I don't want to see the range. I dont want to see the range when I just tap it, but I want to see it when I hold down the key. thankas
