How to NOT Go On a Losing Streak (SoloQ)

Clarification

Everyone WILL have a losing streak at least once no matter who they are. But I will help reduce the number of times you have the streak, and the number of games you lose consecutively.

Toxicity

I will make this very simple. Do NOT be toxic period

Taking a Break from Ranked

If you lose 2-4 games in a row, take a break from ranked and play 1-2 normal games. The chances are, your confidence has dropped, and you will most likely not perform your best in your 3rd game and on. I suggest not playing ranked until you have at least won one normal game.

You can even play bots and go 100/0/100 :D

Tilting

Tilting WILL make your performance worse. Play each game as if it were your 1st of the day, and try your best to not think of the losses.

Relaxation

I know it is very hard to relax when we play ranked. It is for me as well. But, it is very important to relax and listen to music while we play, etc..

I am NOT saying we shouldn't try, but while we are trying our best, we should relax at the same time.

That seems a bit contradictory, but try it; it works.

Individual Skill

Believe it or not, your individual performances have a huge impact, especially in SoloQ. Oftentimes the reason you go on a losing streak is that you may not be good enough. If you feed almost every game, make bad calls, and etc.., the chances are you are the reason you are having a losing streak. And as the monkey king MonkeyKing says, 'Improve your skills'.

Encouragement

This is probably the hardest of them all. How do we not get mad at feeders/unskilled players? But we have to be patient with them, and try to help them. We should encourage those who are not as good as others, and we should encourage feeders not to feed and play safely although they will most likely talk back saying things like, "they tower dive me every time!"

In Closing

Feel free to add what you think is important in not having a losing streak often, and as always

Good Luck and Have Fun :D

Tilting

There is nothing more annoying than getting into champ select and hearing a soon-to-be-teammate already saying MID PLEASE IM SICK OF MY MID FEEDING EVRY DAMN GAME.

You know you're in for a bumpy ride when a person is still raging about the last few games.

Tip to win number 37:

Stop ignoring team fights and letting your teammate die because you didn't think it was a good play. You just gave them a free kill watching the fight in the bush.

I don't know how many times I've been engaged in a 2v1 that should have been a 2v2 that would have been a double kill for my team but the jungler or adc(always those 2) sat in a bush 2 feet away and fed them and yes THEY fed since they could have prevented it and gotten kills.

How to win soloq: Have a team with better mechanics/game knowledge then the other team or dont have teamates that troll/play stupid picks. GL.

FierceSTEAK, you TOTALLY get me. I'm on the verge of giving up altogether. Those tips you show have much detail. I know the word 'tilt' comes from a poker term. I have heard that often. I made a few posts on what I should do to improve myself both in this game and from out of the game. And, are these the only way to get better?

Really this is helpful for anyone doing pvp, this would reduce toxicity and flaming in the game altogether. Maybe riot should publish a "How to prevent rage." page with these tips in mind.

Extra tip: If you've got such bad luck you get people that are already raging themselves in champ select or doing trollpicks, dodge the match. 3-10 LP loss are nothing against the LP-loss, MMR-loss and time-waste of a match you won't win anyway.

One tip is using a different champion/different role. If you use the same champ in the same role every game, you WILL get sloppy after a while. I've gone games where, after playing Hecarim jungle so many times in a row, the Red Camp kills me multiple times because of carelessness.

Everyone is creating teh guides to give you advice to get to diamond, there is not really taht much to tell. The most important thing to not go on a losing streak is to keep your calm before you go in to every game, don't go in to a game mad and toxic, the chances are you're going to keep losing and go on a losing streak.
