Just stop typing. Disable all chat.
The only things you should type are:
"gj" ‘... flash ... time" "no sums ..." "baron" "dragon" "group" "peel for ..." "engage" "push..., i'll split" "warded" "get out" "forget me, snowball other lanes"
everything else is useless.
This alone should raise your win rate by at least 3%.

But I can also type fairly quick and don't do so when I'm near enemies or unwarded bushes.

H3llion2 votesI didn't realize all chat was off when I reinstalled. Best thing that happened to me. Knowing your getting dominated in lane is bad enough. Hearing them say it over the chat is worse. Really helps focus when the only critic is yourself, and not the dude say "you suck" on the other end of the chat.

BluePolarizer1 voteschatting pre 1:00 is fine but even before 1:30 you should look at the map, though chatting is useful for forcing people to not check email or facebook.
