Hi guys, I just noticed that my champion pool lacks a proper AP MId champ. I have twisted fate, but I cant make him work. Somehow, I always end up facing Yasuo and getting destroyed. I am thinking about Kassadin, Veigar, Ahri or Brand. Do you have any other suggestions?
Unfortunatly you listed all ap mids i'm no good with lol - I really enjoy Ekko though he's solid, Kat is an old school solid one
Azir, syndra, oriana, cass, victor those are just some.
I think you should use Ahri, Orianna, Viktor and AP Kog'Maw. All of them are pretty easy to play and scale pretty well into lategame. If you don't care about difficulty, then play Azir, Cassiopeia or Syndra.
diana is a good mid but is a better jg because of her ult. Lets say you pick diana and they pick azir his ult will just rape you no matter what but if your jg you can just run around the map Q then R and there is not much they can do. Diana is still a good mid either way i just like her jg more.
Ori is cool as well I tend to prefer the meleemids for some reason - Diana - Ekko - Kat etc
Azir and Twisted are no doubt the best AP mids you can learn and keep in your pocket. They remain relevant even up in higher level play. I main Syndra and Orianna and I say pick up Orianna. Syndra is currently in a bad spot with Riot nerfing her lane bully presence and bugginess. Orianna is very good but is pretty situational because a team that synergizes well with her is when she shines the most. If you're trying to carry solo q then Orianna may not be the best decision but she's very good with Malphite or J4. Her ultimate takes a bit to get used to because of the delay and range. Once you get familiar with it, you can make some game changing plays. Veigar is good but always banned, Ahri is good if you can get a huge lead by roaming. Brand is good as an AP mid but I think he does better as a support.
To be honest Ahri or Brand. Ahri has that nice good sustain and mobility and a disable. Brands stun can be hard to land if your opponent is good at dodging your abilities. May I also suggest Annie, she's a great AP mid and can support if needed same with Morgana.

I recommend Morgana, Lux, and Lissandra.
