should i max w instead of e on Azir now?
its been a while since i played Azir but I did keep up on the news about his nerfs. Do i still max E after maxing q? or should I go for maxing w after q now.

Personally, i prefer to do this, as it allows you to place 3, and sometimes 4 soldiers on the plane at once.

Only practiced him twice in custom-mode versus bots & maybe AFK-played once or twice in Co-Op for 1st-Win-of-Day Bonus so something like five times using him altogether thus far. Why would you max anything other than W first anyway ? I maxed in the order of RWQE since E is just utility for me due to its very long cool-downs in comparison to the other two.
I played like n00b in the beginning but got caught back up towards the end. You will see that I was missing combos early then getting consistent end-game.
in 9/10 cases you should max Q>W>E with R whenever unless you're Bjergsen and a master at the Shuriman Shuffle (using E onto a soldier then using Q while in flight to curve yourself into a foe and use R to shove them back way out of position). Maxing Q first lets u harass in lane really well since your soldier base damage won't exceed your Q base until post lv13 anyway, plus in lane most people will not let u get more than 1-2 AAs on them at once, with Q maxing the CD is lower so you can W>AA>Q>AA for more poke. Maxing W is what some players like to do but I find it makes you less of a lane bully which is one of Azir's strong points
