Usually I get matched with people with mmr in normals which I can deal with because I am not that good at the game but recently I've been seeing a lot of Diamonds in my matches and I'm just a regular gold 4. Their quality of playing is too much for me, I understand that I might learn something from playing against diamonds but I don't think I'm ready for that yet. Match making is so weird right now.

Orangesilk1 votesMMR is a rolling function, they could be on a losing spree due to them getting used to the preseason changes, and will start picking up as they get used to them. Preseason is a wonky time in many ways.

SarahElle2 votesIm not ranked and i don't play or win a whole lot of normals, but in normals there is always golds and higher playing with me.
Its not fair, to me or to the higher skilled players having to have me on their team.
I can't practice and get better because I just get melted every time.
I wish they would look in to this.
KR LEE S1N1 votesi agree but i feel the opposite way lol. I never played enough normals so my mmr is super low. Its just annoying because I use normals to play my weaker roles, but it's really hard to take normals serious when the gameplay is silver lol.
KR LEE S1N1 votesI don't get why your ranked mmr just doesn't translate to your normal games, it'd make the game a lot more fun and I'd improve more quickly in my not main roles.
Orangesilk2 votesBecause some people play normals EXCLUSIVELY for fun, and forcing them to play at their ranked level would destroy this fun, for the people who are like the diamonds OP is talking about, normals is all about the playground where you troll around and dick a bit and not take anything seriously.
