@Riot, its really lame that the poro icons are RP only..

Someone had talked about this in GD but since RIOT won't look at the damn GD i have to come and bring this up. Why the hell should the poro icons be rp? Like the OP in the link said Riot said that they would make event icons both RP and IP so all the the playerbase could enjoy the event. But clearly its RP and there's no signs of it saying ip. Isn't that a bit greedy much Riot? With all the skins coming out you still want to be greedy with this?

I think it's because they change the poros you use in the new FGM, so they act like skins, thus costing RP. It would be cool if they costed IP as well, but I doubt that will happen

I agree, I think that this would be Riots reasoning in this situation. However, unless they're like 75 RP each, paying for a Poro skin in a featured game mode that you'll never be able to play again after a few weeks is pretty lame. If you ask me, I think that the Icons and Poro skins should be separate, not linked. It just seems lazy/shortsighted imo.

They've made a lot of icons in the last few months. Especially for ascension. But this is Christmas, the time for giving. If not IP icons, give us something. A game mode we'll never see again isn't what I'd want. Not to be mean, but this is pretty greedy for RIOT to do this.

Interesting. I never thought of it that way. Maybe because I find the people who say RIOT, tend to be criticizing (eg, RIOT's balance team is terrible), so that's the way I always hear it.

Also, there are six icons on PBE iirc, but only five of them change poros. I'd guess the poro king icon will be free, earnable with either IP or wins:

Technically the Snowdown event has yet to start, so perhaps when the event begins they will be on sale for IP.

It should have an IP option. Riot just being greedy as hell. Even though the icons change how the poro's look in game its only TEMPORARY. There are skins that are cheaper than those poro icons and they last forever unlike this special feature these icons provide.
