Need help - playing with the dreaded plat 5's now.

I am on a losing streak today. I am not flawless, and make many mistakes, but in some games they don't directly lead to me losing the games. What did was a rager in at least half of my losses today, all of whom were plat 5's with negative W/R ratio. They are people who literally never group, AFK for jungler or support taking 1 CS, talk big in lobby and then get rekt (and then mad at jungler, support or mid), threaten to AFK for jungler holding their tower while they're dead, etc. I don't even know how to deal with these ppl. Any tips on avoiding being a victim of the dreaded plat 5 0 LP negative W/R ragers?

Its like my plat promos all over again. Just filled with ragers, surrender spammers and AFK for tiniest of reasons. Way worse than silver.

First of all, it makes you perform worse when you worry too much about having a "bad" teammate or even about a possibility to get matched with one. The thing is, there is no way to control which kind of teammates you'll get matched with except for the limited power of dodging games in champion select. There comes a point where winning is absolutely necessary as a motivational factor that will lift your spirits up. And at this point (for me, it's always), you shouldn't care whether your teammates are assholes or have negative win-rate or anything else. Play your game towards winning and adapt to anything they do by making the most efficient decisions in given circumsances. I'll give you an example: Once I've had a regular frustrated soloq rager on my team who decided to splitpush top solely at 40 minute mark and he openly admitted that this is his way of saying "fuck you" to the team because he's salty for whatever reason. You know what we did? We FOLLOWED HIM THERE and teamfought 5v5 and won the game. I don't care about whether it was a bad lesson for him, I want to win and I don't feel obligated to teach anyone how to not be an asshole.
