Quickest way to gain Pool Party Points (no RP)

1. Join a chat room

Click on the button next to your friend list at the bottom-right of your screen, then click the button that appears right above it and type in the name of a public chat room.

There are many chat rooms for this event Team Up Week 1 Team Up Week 2 Team up Week 3

or pool party pool party 1 pool party 2 pool party 3 pool party 4

You can join multiple chat rooms at the same time as well.

2. Accept an invite OR invite players yourself If you are in one or more of these crowded chat rooms, you will be spammed with invitations requests. You can either ignore them, or accept one of them. Leave chat rooms by clicking the X at the bottom of the client.

Alternatively, you can host your own pool party game. Create a party, click the invite button, then click the "chat room" button at the bottom of the window that pops up. Now spam click on those + signs to invite a long list of people. Go to other chat rooms and repeat.

TIP: Playing ARAM or Dominion grants you (and the community) significantly faster games and thus more points as you can play a new game way faster. Faster games = more games.

3. SURRENDER at 15 minutes! Now, this is quite controversial, but the title is how to get the points as fast possible. "But if we surrender, we lose! We don't get points for losing!" True, yet, nothing is more wrong than that. YOU don't gain those points, but your opponents will. The matchmaking always matches 5 man premade teams against other 5 man premade teams. This means that IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO WINS! You do need to win one game during the week to have "contributed" to the event, but you actually contributes just as much when you lose. Each game, 10 players work together to gain 5 points. Without a losing team, there is no winning team.

Therefore, if you want points as quickly and that's your only goal, surrender at 15 every game. However, that's not fun and it's still a game, so choose to ignore this tip as you please. But... If people would surrender games when they're far behind, games would end much quicker and we can gain more points. My message to you: DON'T BE AFRAID TO PUSH THAT SURRENDER BUTTON

Ideally, the losing team should always surrender at 15 minutes. I know this is not what Riot wants, but they set the bar so high that such measures are required to get there.

To make this work in practice, you can ask at the start of the game in ALL chat that the losing team should surrender at 15 (unless it's a close match) and explain why.
