Karma advice please!

Looking for advice on how to build karma.

At first glance she seems some what safe with E mobility, but 100-0 kill potential feels low

I kinda wanna build CDR on her, since the Q poke alone doesn't do alot

She is not a 100-0 champion, altough if u get fed with a yolo DFG buy she can do some terrible combo 100-0. But still it's more sensitive to play on her strengths.

So she needs 3 stats as solo laner: AP (obvious), AP and CDR. THe latter 2 are importat since karma does have a very unique style in regards she is nether bursty nor sustained dps mage. She is a hyvrid between the 2 like a sustained miniburst mage.

Therefore your items should consist first some kind of mana regen and cdr (morello seems to be the goto as of now but frozen heart can do it as well) after that utility ap items cuts the best on her, Rylai, Liandry (altough i dont like liandry on her), Deathcap,Zhonya.

If you get fed tho, opting some of the more yolo items like Lichbane or Dfg can enable a lot of interesting plays as well. Especially Lichbane since karma is one of the few mages who has pretty solid base AA range and speed so there is no problem to cut the shots inbetween your cooldowns.

maxing order Q>W>E ult whenever possible, and the basic combo (IF 101% optimal) shoot Q, start the link with W dfg/proc Lichbane -> shoot empowered Q into the rooted/dfged opponent and watch him melt.

As some have said before, Karma is not a 100-0 champion at all. She focuses mainly on utility and minibursts of damage. If playing her in a solo lane, you want to farm (obviously) and poke with your Q. I don't recommend using your Ult + Q in lane to harass unless you're at 80% HP, otherwise, shield -> Ult -> W -> Q. Karma is a lane bully so play like one.

Starting Items: item 1056 + Pots. Nothing else. First back goals: item 1001 item 3114 /item 3108 . Taking one or the other doesn't matter. But Chalice isn't worth it anymore as Athene's does pull back your damage. Morello's will make your damage quite ridiculous if you get it before 11 minutes or so. Rush: item 3165 Depending on the how the game is going: item 3089 or item 3157 (if you're getting focused or against an AD mid buy an early seeker's. If you're super fed, get a second item 3165 which you can sell later.

Defensive against AP assassin: item 1057 after you finish your morello if you can. and turn it into item 3001 Defensive against AD: item 3191 and finish morello's. Boots: item 3020 or item 3111 but I prefer sorc's 90% of the time. I try to finish sorc shoes in between morello's and your needlessly large rod item. It really helps your mid game damage. Although if you can get a large rod, then do so Offensive: item 3135 item 3136 . Haunting for early game. Void for late. I also really like item 3116 on Karma. It makes her super beefy.

And your last item should be a item 3102 if your opponent has assassins/pick CC/combo mages etc.

Final build should look like this for mid lane: item 3165 item 3089 item 3157 item 3116 item 3020 item 3102

Just a tip for Karma: Use your Ult, Focused Resolve, and you get healing, and CC when you're vsing close range champions. Remember to zig zag your movement so you'll dodge a few of their skill shots.

She can 100-0 if you stay AHEAD every 30 seconds or so. Easer to 75-0 though. Morellos>sorcs>deathcap (coming from someone that rarely builds a deathcap on anyone)>x>x>x

You can level 2 chz them from full, but trying to land 1 q>r at level 1 greatly increases lvl2 kill chances. W and prepare to qr ignite. Timing is goofy because you have to do it before w actually finishes rooting them. This should pretty much always get a kill or a flash. From there it's all about just staying ahead and post level eleven you essentially a wave clear /poke / peel Mage with a cool team engage/disengage ult.

Karma mid is cool and works well with fairly low practice, but isn't as sexy as some of the more carry focused mids.
