Rush the Ravenous H. or get Double Pickaxe?

So i main Wukong, I'm pretty much a one trick pony for now (working on it). Some games I just yolo and get double Picks on my second back for an insane damage spike versus what i usually did which was getting Tiamat And a Long S. or Boots. Usually on my next back i finish the Rav and the other pick is used for the LW.

Do you guys think it is better to rush the Rav.? On Wukong? Or is the damage spike more worth, of course depending on the situation/match up? What do you guys think on this?

Its worked pretty well for me, but i think rushing the Rav. also has its advantage in the form of sustain in fights. Get double Picks only if ahead or up against a squishy laner or what? Also what do you think about this in general, anyone do that with their AD casters? Thanks.

I really can't think of a good situation to get double pickaxe over tiamat...

If you really want to go full DPS, rush the tiamat and then hold off on the hydra and get LW. It allows for much higher burst just you don't get the sustain from the vamp scepter. Tiamat into LW is really good on AD casters like rengar and khazix too.

Hydra first is probably better overall though on Wukong. You can usually get away with not building tank until level 11 (for teamfights) since that's when Wu powerspikes with his ult

double pickaxe gives you 50 raw AD, while costing a lot more to get than a BF sword which also gives 50 AD. Tiamat gives 45 AD, a fair amount of regen, and strong wave clear and an active for extra burst.

Really, there's actually never a reason to get double pickaxe for a damage spike since it is the weakest spike you can get for the amount of gold invested outside spending your gold on 5 longswords to get the same 50 AD.

Tiamat is better in every situation, especially if you're getting boots or a longsword with it.
