Zyra support damage retarded or just me?

TItle.

SHe just strong af as support, can someone tell me ways I can deal going agsint a zyra support? I also know its the same thing with Brand and Annie supports. I play support nautilus every now and then.

Also another thing If I may add. How do you guys deal with a early game weak adc like say vayne as a support? Its as if they don't play adc and don't know they are weak early, try to engage early, and then die to blame the support for not miraculously increasing their dmg output.

Mage supports in general are a pain in the ass since ADC's don't have the hp to sustain through.

Ye, and I understand they get out scaled late game, especially since they are squishy. However, they are just very cancerous. The Annie support still one hits the ADC. The Zyra support gets so much damage in compared to your traditional support, and she doesn't even have APC build. Brand Support is the same way.

Whats sad is when you catch the enemy ADC out of position, but Zyra simply does MORE damage than the ADC and basically destroys you.

Because she isn't a SUPPORT. She's a mid lane mage first, secondary support, so of course she does mega damage.

So tired of people ranting about her when they don't know or realize that she's a mid laner and in such does a lot of damage. On top of that her spells contain a lot of AOE damage too so it hurts more.

As for help, if her plants spawn near you, walk over them so she can't use them. Build MR and exploit her squishyness and lack of mobility. Bait out her root and bam go in on her. Easy peasy.

I understand when she does good damage as a mid. but when she constantly does the most damage on the team by a large margin AND DIDN'T EVEN BUILD MUCH AP TO DO IT! Then that is a problem. Riot needs to hit her in the base damage and get her some ratio buffs.

It's not a problem. It's due to her AOE which adds up over time. And since she's been doing this forever that means Riot likes her the way she is.

Ahahah this is so true. I know she is a mid player, but you only really see people play her support. I've seen a good amount of people even requesting to ban her. Obviously people do not want her bot, she is just cancer af.

It's long been retarded, so it's not just you.

If you're a tank that has some kind of engage, fish that bitch out. If you're a poky backliner/enchanter, you either abuse your shields, or use your "subpar" poke and kill her anyways.

Though if you have the chance to pick after she does, Soraka is a very good pick. Did I also mention that her Q can help weed out Zyra's plants?

Well as naut if you get a good hook and early combo you can all in better than Zyra. Zyra has a good root that does a lot if you're hit by it. The counter to her is to step on her seeds before she gets a plant. As soon as she ults, drop everything you're doing and walk out of range as fast as you can. Miss fortune also counters her wonderfully

I usually try to bam zyra because she pretty much counters all the supp. I started using malz in the same way .the issue lies in my passive can only block 1 thing

Play a poke supp or a supp like leo who can stun and hope to God the Vayne stuns them off her knockback

Idk how far into school you got, but if you know how to read, and read some of the comments, apparently it isn't just me. But hey, don't take my word for it, all you have to do is read--if you can of course. Let me know if you need help with that.
