Can we stop the smurfing

Its simply cancer. I guess I will purposely lose on one of my accounts and let it drop to B5 so I can have fun like these smurf sluts that come from plat and diamond to silver.

I think smurfing in general is stupid. Focus on 1 account and 1 account only, like honestly what's the point of making 5 accounts?

you cant play with your friends/boost them in solo queue if they are silver and youre diamond, how will they get their rewards at the end of the season?

You can play with your friends in a magical mode called "Normal Draft". If your friends are in silver they deserve to be there.

ranked is more fun:less trolls, more competitive, you actualy have a reason to tryhard and you actualy get to win a lot beause you have a premade smurf in your team.

Ranked has more trolls because of people not getting the roles they wanted. Sure it gets more tryhards, but only winning because of a premade smurf tells me the person should stay out of ranked or uninstall.

Not many people intentionally loses to get down to silver... You can go down to B5 if you want though.

Honestly.. Getting to B5 is fricken hard..

I bet it is. About 33% of games will be won whether you interfere or not. That's just the way it is.

Lol yeah... honestly, if someone is stuck in bronze 5.. then they probably have never played a video game before xD

you dont need to lose to get to silver. fresh lvl 30 accounts start out at silver 3 or silver 2 in their placements, if im not mistaken.

It really doesn't happen often. I have multiple accounts in bronze/silver, and my main in gold. I really never run into smurfs on the low level accounts.

Ok sure but why1 votes

you are the smurf man

No, gold to bronze is not really smurfing. They're both shitter elo. I'm a shitter in gold and I'm a bit less of a shitter in bronze.

I never cared about smurfing, also no idea how many players are actually doing it.

Smurfing is like finishing a game on very hard and then replaying it on very easy... why would you even do that? You know that you can beat it on very easy so why even bother? Doesn't the game become boring?

There's really no good reason for anyone to make a smurf account unless they are master/challenger. But I feel like even if I was at that level, I'd want to keep climbing on my main. I wouldn't enjoy going into a lower elo and pubstomping every single match.

Shuyin1782 votes

I'd keep playing on my account until I reached #1 in Challenger. Take a screen shot of it. Then never play the game again because for a moment I would be the #1 player on NA.

Sure, purposely.

2 words. queue time. The higher elo you get the higher the queue times are and people don't wanna wait 10 minutes to get into a game. Plus you said people purposely lose to get into b5, but seriously either way I think people have to intentionally be bad to get into b5. Ill admit smurfing does ruin the game for some people but I wouldn't say remove it. Here is a pro you can think about, if you fight against a smurf you can learn more from that more then losing to people who are in the same elo

Note: by the way I was kidding people have to try to get into b5. im b4 and if I said that id be a hypocrite.

B5 goes from 800 MMR to 0. It is a huge division, most division are 100-150 MMR big, B5 is 800. To get into the top of B5 is one thing, but to get into the bottom of it you really have to try, that part has a playerbase as big of diamond 1+ playerbase
