Gnar is a teamfight MVP. But you have to be Mega Gnar otherwise he won't do much.

Darius can be a teamfighter as his ult revolves around getting resets.

Hecarim top is very viable. However, you will need armor quints (allow him to win trades vs any ad champion) and mana regen/ CDR blues.

Run TP, and get most of your kills from roaming. You can ignore the enemy laner if u want.

Darius? Able to pull up to all 5 if they are grouped. Q has a decent range. Bleed is deadly. Dunk after Dunk after Dunk after Dunk after Dunk. In most expierences, I win the lvl 1 fight if the enemy top laner thinks they can take me.

Gnar, Renekton, Jax if played to the team fight, lissandra (but fairly difficult to master)

Yo, Shyvana or even Renekton and late game if you farm good then Nasus

Leblancs Boob12/22/2014, 3:22:13 AM1 votes

Evelynn Her ult can 1 shot squishies and she can easily flank with her passive. Shes a great laner and scales very well

Hecarim Gnar Galio JarvanIV Kennen Malphite Shyvana Lissandra Renekton While not all of them are meta right now (Shyv and Kennen for example) they can all go top and are extremely good in team fights.

Teamfight top laner: Rumble one ult wins the fight.

I immediately though of wu as he can provide sustain damage, hard cc, and tanky-ness. But I see that you do not like him.

So then I think of J4, Irelia, G'nar, Shen, and Jayce.

I say Jaycee because you provide siege potential and poke.

Hi! Just wanted to give you a quick snippet of info that may be helpful to you.

Top laners are typically Brawlers or Tanky individuals. (Think Naut, Dr.Mundo, Nasus, etc.)

What does that mean for you?

Well, your team is going to want you to be tanky, and they're going to want you to bring some damage and some HP to the fight. The best way to do this is to play Champions that are known as fighters or brawlers, and just learn to play them. Take some time and devote a game or two a day to learning one and you'll be well on your way to winning team fights (though, remember, there are many variables at play in team fights!)

Champions you may want to consider: Aatrox Chogath Darius Elise Fiora Garen Gnar Gragas JarvanIV Jax Jayce Kayle Khazix LeeSin Malphite MasterYi Maokai Nasus Rengar Renekton RekSai Nocturne Nidalee Nunu Olaf Nautilus Riven Rumble Ryze Sejuani Shaco Shen Shyvana Singed Sion Trundle Tryndamere Yasuo MonkeyKing XinZhao Vladimir Vi Yorick Zed Teemo Pantheon Poppy Hecarim

Personally, I recommend starting with an easy(er) Champion, that is somewhat snowbally, to learn.

So take Riven Riven or Nasus Nasus (Snowballs hard late game). Wu Kong MonkeyKing (though I see you don't like Wu) or TrundleTrundle would be good options when you're learning as well. I just posted pretty much any Champion that would be generally ACCEPTABLE Top in the current Meta. If it's not listed, it's (probably) not viable.

my suggestion is dont hate maokai , one of the best teamfighter top laners who synergizes well with a large number of people/spells and a tank to boot if you love walking around teamfights like a beast boss

Rumble, Gnar, Malphite, and Maokai are great for teamfight presence.

Riven can be amazing if you get an early lead, but if you're even or behind it can be difficult - particularly if they have a lot of CC or disengage.
