What champion can carry you out of bronze 5?

Mega MilkJugs·6/29/2015, 9:10:58 PM·1 votes·2,708 views

Yes i know that its not exactly the champs you pick but mostly how you play champs that let you win games. But its obvious that there will always be champs that do better than other champs. What champions are good at carrying out of bronze 5? someone told me Vlad, riven and wukong are good picks but i wanted to know from more people first before i just start randomly playing supposedly "op" champions. Thanks in advance.

to get out of bronze, your champion doesnt matter quite that much, what matters more is your skill and your mechanics. Bronze is very bad mechanics wise, and CS wise. Go into a private game and practice CSing, and you will notice more of an imporvement through that then through playing "OP" champs. Hope this helps :)

That will depend on your role and what kind of champs you like to play (I have a friend who will only played ranged champions because she hates melee). Being a support main in ranked games (since you're usually guaranteed support) here are my personal thoughts on the top supports:

  1. Janna- Janna The problem with most bronzers is that they can't see anything other than "damage". They will give up building tank, for damage items because in their mind, damage wins overall, which is only partially true. Janna is a really great support support because she can help her team run from fights that they will lose to and also initiate with maybe a flash-ult or tornado. She gives a really good chase-- her slow is massive and her movement speed is incredible. Furthermore, her shield, which so many noobs use JUST for protection, is actually mainly prized for its extra attack damage. She's really good against all-in champs like Leona, because she can just push them away with her ult or tornado. The only downside is that Janna is incredibly squishy and only offers support abilities and doesn't do much damage (I've built tank janna for fun it was hilarious). Also, her kit is great at escaping so you have a VERY low chance of dying (I've been down to <100 health and had a Malphite tower dive me to try to kill me. Just pop your slow and dance around as the turret f-cks him over.)
  2. Leona Leona Leona is great because she has a lot of cc and bronzies don't really know how to work around that. Also, Leona does some nice damage and can be very tanky for her team. The downside of playing with Leona is that almost every bronze ADC will flame and threaten to report you if you accidentally get the kill. (That's f-cking stupid, no one in the higher tiers gives a sh-t about kills because they actually go for objectives.) Also, Leona has no actual escape abilites, other than her slow so if your ADC doesn't know how to follow up and rushes back to turret, you're pretty much dead.
  3. ThreshThresh Thresh has probably the best kit out of all the supports but he requires skill to play. His hook and flay is really good for securing a kill and his lantern (assuming your teammates know how to f-CKING CLICK IT) helps you do sick plays. Just be careful when your lantern is on cooldown and learn to use your flay to push enemies away for an escape. IMO, the best mid laners for ranked:
  4. Ahri Ahri She's a strong midlaner and her passive gives really great sustain in the laning phase. Her q helps with farming and is a really great tool to harass and zone enemies, especially if they're melee. The only thing to watch out for is your mana bar and ganks, since Ahri is extremely squishy. Also, finding the right time to land a charm is crucial but if you're kinda iffy with skill shots, Ahri probably isn't the best champ for you.
  5. Leblanc Leblanc I actually main Leblanc so I might be a bit biased but I'll be honest, playing Leblanc is fun as hell. Her juke potential is really high (it's so funny when bronzers run after my clone and even flash to kill it or use ignite on it) and her burst is insane. She has great roam potential and the damage she gets with her q-r-e/w procs are devastating. Her early game is strong since she can get kills without ult. Just be careful about the enemy jungler because if her w is down you'll either have to burn flash to get out or die. She's also really squishy so even if you are op af, during team fights, stay a good distance away and toss out damage, quickly returning to your mark after using w. The other problem is that Leblanc is usually banned :(.
  6. Talon Talon Talon probably one of the most underrated champions in the game. He's viable in mid or top and deals a ton of damage. I've never played him before but even back in silver 5 games, he's usually the biggest carry and went on to destroy my whole team.
  7. Yasuo Yasuo Yasuo, if you learn to play him properly and really understand and utilize all of his abilities including his passive, is so op. Most people I've played with in bronze don't know how to dodge ANY of his tornado sh-t. He's viable in mid or top and deals a ton of damage. He can completely obliterate an entire team if they're caught out in the jungle and are all knocked up (hah).
  8. Annie Annie Her stun is very good at initiating or even helping your team run from an unwanted fight. She has amazing burst damage and kicks everyone in the butt mid-late game. She's viable as support, though most ADC's will hate you if you accidentally get the kill. ADC: please don't play Vayne if you're bronze. Just don't.
  9. AsheAshe Ashe, like all the other ADC's is squishy but can deal out huge amounts of damage early on. You don't necessarily need your ult to get a kill, but it can help you initiate. Ashe is a really make or break champ because if you fall behind the enemy adc, you're f-cked. If you plan to play Ashe, I think Leona is a great pick to support her, since with a double slow and a stun, you're almost guaranteed a kill or at least a flash.
  10. CaitlynCaitlyn Caitlyn is a really basic champion that's easy to play so many people choose to use her. I've never played her before but it seems that many people have trouble dodging her claw and their teammates (for their own selfish reason) refuse to try to block her ult. She does great damage early on and seems to be a really fun champion to play.
  11. Sivir Sivir Sivir is extremely underrated. I always have a ton of fun playing her because she has such a strong late game is really useful in teamfighting. Most people tend not to vouch for her, mainly because she only actually has her boomerang and Ricochet to do damage in terms of her abilities. Her ult is just massive movement speed that so many people underrate. Jungle: You know a jungler is good when they can clear camps quickly without having to back often and can gank without ult
  12. Sejuani Sejuani Sejuani is a popular ban and most people don't really know how to play against her. She's strong in the jungle and her ganking ability is massive. She doesn't necessarily need level 6 to gank and she is viable as a tank but can still put out a fair amount of damage.
  13. Hecarim Hecarim He's played a lot in top lane but with his speed kit, he can gank really well and is tanky enough. He dishes out a lot of damage and is really good at zoning during teamfights.
  14. Udyr Udyr He's a strong tank, and really simple to play. Many people are unable to counter him whenever he ganks and they just end up cc'ed to death. He can definitely carry a game.
  15. Tryndamere Tryndamere His undying rage is bullsh-t. This gives for great ganks, because if they enemy retreats to tower, tryndamere can dive that tower and it won't kill him because of his undying rage, giving his team enough time to kill the enemy. He's simple to play and kind of a troll-y champ but he can carry you out of bronze.
  16. Gragas Gragas He's very commonly banned, but there are those who forget about prioritizing the drunk and the enemy team picks him and ruins your whole day. He has decent sustain in the jungle and he is SO good at ganks. Personally, I'd definitely want a Gragas on my team so if jungle is taken, you can take this big boy top or mid; he's not too shabby at support either. Top: if you're going top, please do your team a favor and pick a tank. Don't be that one ignorant stubborn a-shole who refuses to tank
  17. Cho'Gath Chogath Cho is broken. AF. If you build him into a tank, you'll get so big and so hard to kill you can just waltz into the enemy base and f-ck everything in the butt. He's also really easy to play and can be a viable support. His silence is such bull and his knock-ups hurt.
  18. Wukong MonkeyKing Lower elo's just don't know how to deal with him. At all. He's naturally tanky, and can juke the sh-t out of the enemy team. He's seriously hard to kill and can lead you on a wild goose chase all over the map.
  19. Rumble Rumble Rumble is really strong and once he reaches his power spike, he'll shove it up the enemy team's butt. His ult is great at zoning in teamfights and the slow is great for catching runaways. Be careful about overheating but other than that, most bronze players will have trouble against a Rumble as not many people play him.

Riven (top) Fiora will also work until like Silver/Gold Sejuani, Gragas, Rek'Sai (jungle) Ziggs, Zed, Yasuo (mid) Sivir, Kalista, Vayne (adc) Janna, Nami, Blitzcrank, Thresh (wouldn't recommend support if you wanna really carry, but if you get insane with Thresh you can literally win games alone lol)

Play stuff with hard CC. I've never been that low but I was in Bronze 1 once and just played Kennen. Was out in 5 games.

Renaille6/30/2015, 12:00:07 AM1 votes

any champ you're good at. Actually good, not bronze level.

Banshee6/30/2015, 12:01:16 AM1 votes

I kno i might sound a bit arrogant saying this, but honestly you can play anything in bronze (as long as you're good at it) and they will let you get away with it because they don't know how to punish and capitalize on it. I know someone who plays vayne adc and got out of bronze with heal ignite as summoners and wins quite often cause they don't punish him for not taking flash.

I was never down that low, but I escaped Bronze almost entirely on Taric. Probably Lulu and Alistar could do the same. First, nobody down there can or wants to support, so having a good support on your team is like playing 5v4. Second, the players don't consider heals or CC when starting fights (sort of like bots in that regard), so you can bait them into some horrible tower dives and other suicides.

Of course, that cuts both ways. As long as you average 10+ deaths a game, you will stay in deep Bronze, and rightly so.

Want damage? Riven Want cc? Riven Want mobility? Riven Want low cd? Riven Want no mana costs? Riven Want ad scaling on all your abilities? Riven Wanna frustrate players? Riven

In all seriousness though, Riven is absolutely retarted when it comes to top lane. Everytime I see a riven it forces me into a tryhard pick like Pantheon or Olaf to make sure she doesn't get out of laning phase with any kills or cs. You have incredibly high mobility with her kit, low cd on all of them, a shield and a stun that both scale with ad, an ult that boosts your attack damage, thereby boosting all your damage, and gives you an execute. I've seen so many people get tired of bronze so they pick Riven (who isn't that hard to get down) and just climb their way to gold making people cry.

EDIT: Riven mains are gonna call me salty. No shit I'm salty, I've been in bronze 3 seasons in a row and had to deal with Riven a majority of the time.

Any champion just main your favorite one and you be out easy. Back in S3, my first season of playing ranked mained Singed and he got me to gold

isKOPPEN6/30/2015, 6:01:54 PM1 votes

Yasuo or riven like those champs, some1 who can 1v5 and where you dont give a sht about ur team.(not nasus or udyr though). In bronze you cant trust your teammates, even in silver and low gold. Thats why you should never support or go tanky and let your teamates do work.

Hyper carries and/or champions with split push potential

Hyper caries: Jinx, Vayne, Fiora

Split push: Tryndamere, Udyr, Shaco

Keep in mind in bronze alot of people are discouraged easily so if you get a solid lead early (shaco) they may just ff@20

So basically With any champ (besides supp i guess) all i should focus on is Cs? Ok so i focus on Csing but what then?

Tbh im really asking this because i tend to not do so good late game. I was wondering what kind of champs do ok early but then win late game? which champs have better team fighting if you know what i mean?

I'm still in Bronze, so this advice isn't great, but think about what roles you play in normals, what are they? I don't care, play Rammus. OK? OK. Just kidding, but if you main jungle, definitely try Rammus , his teamfight impact is greatly amplified by his ability to get from spawn to midway through the map with Homeguard item 3117 + His Q. If you can land this ability on multiple enemies, and taunt an enemy Mage or Marksman, they will fall quickly. But besides that, pick champions that either aren't in meta ( Like Karma, Gangplank, Volibear, etc. ), or are old roles ( Zac top, Nidalee support/top, and others ). This isn't as risky as it sounds, and doing it will make greater impact, due to the fact people don't know your counter points. Side note, just because Katarina is left up, don't EVER blind pick her. If you don't know who you're against, you will be destroyed. Fizz, Xerath, Yasuo, Veigar, Vel'Koz, Diana, and any champions with AoE damage skillshots and multi-target CC will destroy you due to the fact your main damage source roots you, making you susceptible to getting hit with burst or getting ganked from the Fog of War. Rammus is a good blind pick, Kat is a terrible blind pick. That's the specific advice I can give you. Look at the middle section for more general advice. Good luck!
