Galio is a beautiful counter to most assassins, which are seeing more light since Duskblade came out. Galio laughs at Zed, Talon, and J4...and especially the AP assassins like Akali, Katarina, etc...

I picked Galio last pick once in response to seeing an Akali mid (was not going top tank by team comp), and she wound up taking Flash+Cleanse.

It didn't help her at all. >:D

Only if you're Rengar + Zed and try to turret dive with no minions while Galio's ult is up. It gets ugly fast.

It's such a good feeling when playing as Veigar against Morgana, getting my ass stomped 0-3 in lane, and then Morgana refusing to build ANY mr the whole game because 'lul i trashed veigar they have no other ap he's no threat rite?'.

B*tch we are 35 minutes in and I'm at 900 AP, but thanks for throwing the game because my R smahses you for your entire HP bar.
