So I'm recently learning top lane, but ive been using only Rengar...i have 6300 IP and i have 3 choices of champs im thinking of getting, Gnar, Azir or Yasuo...My question is...which of these champs would be a great top laner? (Who can also maybe go to another lane as well)

Gnar is likely to get banned so you might not wanna consider him Azir is not only difficult as fuq to play, he also needs buffs... and even after that he's still difficult to play Yasuo is just difficult and most likely out sustained by any other top laner, dont take im top without being really good

Azir and Gnar both being knew are likely to be on the nerf/buff train for quite a while, which is kind of infuriating when maining a champ like that. Yasuo is interesting because he naturally counters tanks by building item 3153 and item 3035 on top of having 50 percentage armor shred to bonus armor in his ult. However, I don't think in his current state that he can do much in the top lane, that's just my opinion. I don't think any of these champs are worth getting right now besides Gnar , but as said before he gets banned a lot nowadays.

May I recommend a top laner like Sion who has really high base damages, allowing to build full tank and still do quite a bit of damage. He barely ever gets banned and is quite fun imo.

Consider Renekton , he is strong in lane and can lock down high priority targets in teamfights. Also, those skins tho.

Gnar - stupid champion with insane sustain, mobility. Oppressive laning as mini Gnar. Good team fighting potential (WITH MEGA GNAR). The thing you need to be aware of is that when you're ready for a teamfight, you need your rage bar to be >50. Recommended. Yasuo - ok mobility, no sustain, team dependent. If you play him and your team doesn't build a composition around him, lol better dodge or you lose. You need at least one person to have a knockup for better teamfighting. Usually, I play Nami when my team picks Yasuo. I don't like him because of this. Azir - gutted lol

Darius is the ultimate top laner. He has mad damage, and excellent team-fighting potential.

Buy Rumble. Gnar is permabanned, Azir needs buffs, Yasuo is way 2 unstable( Either he is too strong or weeker then a nami trying to take on a Leblanc level 1)

Rumble is a very decent toplaner, his abilities can be spammed and his ult is great for zoning the enemy team and devastating when used correctly.

Azir is in a very poor place at the moment, Yasuo is inconsistent, and Gnar is banned often and honestly isn't the best, but admittedly may just not be my playstyle.

I'm personally a fan of Hecarim, Irelia, Rumble, Cho'Gath, and Nidalee. Sion and Maokai are quite strong at the moment for top as well.

Maokai 's a great toplaner if you're going for an AP champ. Good damage, sustain with his passive, consistent build paths, and a great kit for teamfights. Responds to ally ganks more consistently than most due to his point-and-click root->knockup.
