Unyielding vs Bladed Armor
So i main Wukong jg and i've been trying to optimize the masteries i use on him. I'm picking my masteries based on my own judgement of what would be best on him. Of course i have seen many guides etc. so that i can read other people's opinions on certain setups and masteries that work on him. However, recently i've been thinking whether i should get that 1 point for 2 less damage from enemy champions on Unyielding or the 1 point for 1% damage to attacking neutral monster to help with that early clear in jungle with Bladed Armor.
I know a few things to be true, 2 less damage from enemy champions is sort of a waste unless you do a lv 2 gank where the fight is a bit extended (optimal use of the mastery imo). Bladed Armor however is a a waste after the first clear (well it could be useful solo fighting dragon/ baron actually). But my thing is this, Wukong has some trouble sustaining jungle but i dont have an issue here i can clear jungle just fine, but Bladed armor can help me clear it a bit faster which means a bit less damage taken and i would be able to go gank sooner (its a miniscule difference in 5 secs or less probably), and Unyielding could probably block a godo 10-20 damage on average in a gank.
These masteries are so frugal in their benefits that its a bit hard to decide. Right now though im leaning mroe towards Unyielding because Wukong's E and W have AoE damage so its not hard to get the smaller creeps in jungle simultaneously, but sometimes those suckers stay with that 1-2% hp and you have to waste a hit on them vs using that hit towards the bigger creep. I will be testing both masteries to see what i think but i'd like some opinions on this.
EDIT: Expose Weakness (EW) vs Butcher. So Expose weakness was what i was using for that 1% extra damage my team could do to enemy champions after that clutch ult on i pull on their team. But then it hit me, im considering Bladed Armor for the better jungle clear, Butcher is that extra boost to the jungle clear. 1% extra damage would mean (in a 5v5) an extra 1 dmage for every 100 damage dealt by every team member (max 4 obviously). In theory the most optimal way to use EW would be, like i said, when i pull a good ult and hit all 5 of the enemy team. Lets my 4 team members use all their abilities after that and would do a total of 500 damage each = 2000 damage, the bonus damage total would be 20 damage. If team did 5000 damage (which is op af) the bonus damage would be 50 damage. 50 Damage is nothing, especially considering that the bonus damage is spread out depending on who the team members attack and also the window to get the bonus damage is 3 seconds (pretty fair if the team was ready, but the opportunity might be missed). Butcher however would help me clear jungle even faster on the first pass, it would work in sync with Bladed Armor. What do ya think?
EDIT: EDIT: Double-Edged Sword (DES) is meh, but i still use it. 2 extra damage for every 100. At level 3 with all abilities Wukong can hit like 4-6 extra damage (no autos taken into account). At 18 with the full 4 seconds on ult with like 300 AD like 40-60 extra damage, where the enemy would have like 1500-2000 hp. Is there a mastery that you think would trump this one by any chance? or is the extra damage worth the point over other options?
