No wonder no one likes playing ADC in silver

Peel Your ADC·2/27/2015, 6:38:39 AM·3 votes·2,279 views

With everyone running at each other, the adc is just a free 300 gold if they ever show up.

Some LCS players should do them a favor and spend an entire game just peeling for each other so others will emulate that instead.

i avoid adc and supp at all cost in low elo. top/mid/jung usually win or lose the game. I agree that few people actually peel in bronze/silver. They would all rather dive the enemy adc than protect theirs =/

My favorite is when im told to "focus graves". I'm like...bitch im caitlyn, i cant run past jax and vi just to shoot graves without getting pwnd >

if you know how to teamfight it doesn't even matter if you lose lane, you'll almost always make a comeback in the mid game.

In other words it doesn't matter if you have a bad support, they can lose lane for you but they can't make you lose a teamfight.

I love playing AD Carry but I often encounter this. You've got to know your team composition and your individual strength. If you and/or your front line can't obliterate the enemy back line, then you/your front line just needs to make sure that their (the enemy's) front line can't do it either.

Team fighting is about either engaging or peeling for your carries until your team can counter-engage (or straight-up disengaging if your team is poke and/or pick oriented).

I've had it the other way round though, both of us are at low health, and the enemy has appeared. The adc has flashed and is well away. I, however, am not. So I Leona combo it up and resolve to die fighting, only to see the ADC has walked back into the fight because I went and somehow managed to die before I do, even at low health. It's cool and all when the ADC gets a kill out of those moments, but seriously, there is a difference between full and no health Leona dives. If I'm trying to give you space to GTFO, you better GTFO.

In low elo, adc have to peel him self. I play tristana, the tipical Zed comes? Ult him away. He still coming? Jump. And deal tons of damage from a safe distance.

I dont play adc because i dont want to have to depend on someone else in my lane to do well. Can end up being a 1v2 lane, could also have a feeding support, or a support with a different play style. Which can throw off your whole game.

Gotta play safe adcs. Ive recently just dropped playing lucian and any immobile adc because lucian low range, immobile adcs no peel and just get bruiser/assassin'd by the smear the ADC games in silver.

Ive swapped over to Cait/Graves/Ezreal/Corki. All adcs who can either farm safely in lane and do dmg in team fights whether the team peels or the support sucks, and well Graves is an enigma because hes short range and a short escape, but he does so much burst dmg that he works with your typical smear the squishy comp by just blowing his combo into people's faces and coming out ahead. Esp with over-aggressive supports, which is generally the way it goes.

I dunno, I've been dumping on people swapping over to Cait from Lucian lately. She pretty much goes even in a bad lane, and people cant handle the range. Shes just boring as hell. I snuck an MF game in there earlier today, and I'm almost positive I would have won that game with any of the ADCs I just mentioned.

I think the only immobile ADC you can get away with is Jinx, and even then, honestly, I still think you are probably better off just playing someone with an escape and range to save yourself the sanity.

But yea, its pretty frustrating to play ADC at times in lower elo. You just gotta play self-sufficient ADCs. I dont consider lucian a self-sufficient ADC, and playing him for so many games this season is what hurt me. I do well on him; I kill a bunch of people, I make flashy plays, I win my lane 90% of the time, I farm well, etc. But his 500 range or whatever and short escape and lack of serious burst like graves without being geared to the max and getting lucky crits just makes him harder to deal with the irelias and various assas-bruisers tunneling him down all game, when half the time playing someone like Cait, they may not evne see you back there wrecking them.
