I feel like ranked became 10x harder in s5

Before s5 started between September & October I was able to climb like it was a joke. I went from bronze 4 to silver 2 before I became bored. When the season first started, nothing felt changed. As far as "teams" go. I felt like either my team or their team was pretty strong and the other team was just a bit behind.

Now that we're a month into it, I feel like my teams are full of ragers, mad players, just angry before it starts. Completely on tilt. I refuse to check anyones game history before it starts, giving them the benefit of the doubt. In no way am I trying to say my team sucks, ranked solo queue is a reflection of yourself, but I'm not as angry as them.

Is season 5 just that rage inducing? I've won 6 of my 18 ranked games so far. It could be that I'm trying different champions out than last season, but I've played all of the champions before, many times over, so it's not new to me.

Did something drastic change in the season 5 meta that I'm not aware of? I mean, anything really, I'm so lost I feel. I feel like I should be in bronze at this point.

Yeah. I'm fucking playing with and against players who were gold last season. I cant believe that most gold players are such trash. Especially gold players in your team. They probably can't afford ELO boosting this season... QQ

elo hell is bigger than it use to be lower divisions especially, now have a broader skill range than it use to cuz fkng riot thouht it was a fun idea to stuff every plat and gold into silver and bronze ;l

nah you get used to it. Lots of gold and plat kids are in silver and bronze due to the reset so games are naturally going to be harder to win. But, you just have to believe and you can win. I lost hope then I grew a pair and carried myself from bronze 2 to silver 2 Im still climbing too.

My biggest problem is I don't know how to improve. Before s5 I was able to learn easily and quickly. This season I just got demoted to s4...I've lost so many games, I had over a 55% win rate last season...this one I'll be lucky to have 30%...
