Why don't we pick 1 by 1 for draft instead of 1-2-2-2-1?

I always got called an ass for not respecting pick order when I'd instalock when I was below someone who shared the same role as me or wanted the same role.

Now its ok for others to do it?

Why isn't team builder or 1 by 1 for draft done instead of the above 1-2-2-2-2-1?

As someone who has never performed such an ass-ly action I can confirm that you sir are an ass and should respect pick order.

That would take forever, and riot has a policy about believing we will get along.

I'm fine with the current system, as I believe that instalocking IN ANY SITUATION PERIOD makes you an ass. Communicate with your team before you lock the champion that you want to play.

I think it might have more to do with counter picking. If you picked 1 by 1, then the result would be that who ever picks second always counter picks into the team that goes first.

By having the 2 picks per draft, it means you can take champions that complement each other in terms of who they counter and who counters them, making it more strategic.

it should be in this order:

  1. blue 1st summoner
  2. red 1st summoner
  3. red 2nd summoner
  4. blue 2nd
  5. blue 3rd
  6. red 3rd
  7. red 4th
  8. blue 4th
  9. blue 5th
  10. red 5th two people should not pick together as it just starts a fight as who gets to pick first.
