5th dragon vs Baron

I was in a ranked game and my teammate were arguing which to do. We saw the other team doing Baron but, we saw that we had our 4th drag already and dragon was up. We eventually decided to do drag and not risk fighting at baron. Which would you decided to do? Which a better buff?

5 drags is better - in that scenario you probably could have had 1 member solo dragon and get the other 4 try and interrupt their baron attempt

I'd think the Baron buff wins out almost always. Now that it buffs the minions as well as the players, it's great for a final push, and should be more effective to the champions themselves as well.

If you could leave 1 person to dragon while going for the baron to kill who you could, or secure the kill yourself and get both (like Axel suggested) you'll totally be ahead

I imagine if your team can hold out against a baron'd up enemy until the buff expires then the 5th dragon buff would win simply because its a permanent buff as opposed to a timed buff. This may also be the case if you don't think you could win a fight against the enemy at baron.

If you think you can beat them at baron then your best bet would be to fight at baron obviously and get the dragon later.

At the end of the day I think the safer bet would be to just take the dragon and turtle until they lose baron buff.

There are a lot of variables that would go into that choice though such as team comps and the number of towers you have left.

5th dragon gives you +30% damage to monsters. Get that, then do Baron.

Why not both? Mexican music

Ask your ADC to leash baron and of course the jungler as well. If your team has someone like Yi, Zed, Riven, ask them to solo dragon as well.

WIN WIN
