What do you do as a jungler when...
What is this mentality of your jungler being a magical slave that can sweep every mistake you make under the rug at the drop of a pin? You haven't even cleared the second half of your jungle before top dies pinging for help, so you go top, and then enemy bot gets a double and youre ping to help bottom, then mid loses. And now youre spending all your time running from lane to lane trying to salvage it with or without the verbal abuse of your team to follow. I mean yea you can mute, but you shouldn't HAVE to mute your team. You should want to help, but realistically how much help are you going to be when your enemies are fed 2-3 levels above you while you havent even been able to complete an item yet because your team isn't letting you farm. And youre just expected to make everything better with no farm and if you DON'T you're simply a bad jungler for not being able to magically fix every lane's problem because they NEED their jungler to win their lane for them. "Buy wards for me/us and fix my lane"
But is this true? ARE you a bad jungler because you can't fix a lane despite being at a disadvantage? SHOULD you be able to always fix a lost lane(s) despite it being far ahead of your immediate capabilities and without ever farming? I mean what do you do in this situation when ever lane is lost and you can't even farm because youre just running around to every lane for the entire game? What is the right call to make?
for example, if you haven't gotten at least one of your lanes ahead pre-level 6, you should play someone else. But if you're playing a more farm based jungler such as
, don't worry about it so much. Also, don't worry about what happens in the lanes before you hit level 3. There is nothing you can do to change anything that early on. Focus on what will be best for your team. If it would help your team more for you to get to your mid/late game, focus on farming and ignore the complaints of your teammates (
pre-6,
pre-6, etc.) If it would be better for you to be pressuring lanes, do that as long as you don't get too behind (
, etc.) As a general rule, after you gank twice you need to get in a full clear, or you will fall significantly behind.
