Need help/advice to climb from high Silver to gold

I main ADC Ezreal and Nami Janna support. I've been demoted twice from Silver 2 to Silver 3, and I've lose all my hopes to reach gold this season (my climb last month from Bronze 2 to Silver 1 was pretty promising too :c). The games have been pretty dumb, it's like I couldn't carry with Ezreal and supporting anymore. I'm actually pretty scared of playing ranked solo now, since I'll get demoted again, I'm pretty sure. It's hard not to care about your LP if you're going to drop that low. Learning Kalista and Cho'Gath top now. It's not even tilt since this has been happening since this month started. :c

play more carry oriented champions that are easier. stop caring about your rank nobody is watching you or caring just work on improving. mid/jungle best for solo que if you want to carry as adc play graves/lucian/caitlyn , midlane ori annie pantheon kayle, support leo annie taric, i swear if you learn these champs and dont get to gold with them you are doing something drastically wrong, these champs allow you to focus on the game and make it easier so you can carry i have a 65% winrate in 40 games on annie and a 75% on lucian in 40 for a reason

Comment on your own game play. Try to fix mistakes you make and keep doing the things you do well. Work on controlling the minion wave to your advantage in lane and late game. Work on trading in lane auto them when they're autoing a minion etc... Stay calm and don't play when on tilt. Don't get mad if you played well and your team didn't, it happens and I'm sure we've all had a bad game before. Just have your mind set on winning and be supportive of your team. Also vision is key in all positions at all ranks! good luck!

Playing passive is only an option if you are continually out classed by a player when trading. Outside of that, it's how you flex your muscle on the opposing laner that determines by how much you win lane. The more aggressive you are allowed to be (for skill reasons or otherwise) the further ahead you will push yourself and the further behind you will push them. The goal is usually to either steamroll the enemy duo so hard you have massive pressure bot to keep pushing objectives, or force the enemy jungle to set up camp to keep you from doing so.

Being passive is a free pass to get farmed to the point where items may gloss over mechanical issues. You are essentially giving players who would otherwise have no chance the opportunity to make an impact.

might help to pick up a more aggressive adc. i rarely win with ezreal's on my team because they fall so far behind in lane.
