How do you support an Ezreal? (QQ thread)

The title sounds really troll but I'm pretty serious here. I don't know if it's because I'm discriminating the champion, but it seems like I tend to lose every time when I'm supporting an Ezreal (if I'm playing other lanes I don't really LOSE teaming up with Ezreal). It's like most Ezreal players are unskilled whiners. Last game, I killed Ashe before she was heading to her tower. Ezreal's like "supports don't KS, you know, you piece of shit, reported". He does not know how to trade, just CS-ing when I tornado-ed both enemy laners and I told him "why don't you trade with Ashe when I shield you?", he told me "what the fuck does trading mean?" Then he proceeds to go 1/7/1. "yea he's losing lane because u didn't carry him in lane hard enough its ur fault!!!! >.

How to support in general?

Easy.

KEEP IN MIND THAT IT'S PURE SYNERGY THAT WINS THE BOT LANE GAME

For example,

(On hit effect champions are often amazing with Ezreal since he's a caster champion)

Sona + Ezreal = GOOD / STRONG

Braum + Ezreal = GOOD / STRONG

Nami + Ezreal = GOOD / STRONG

Leona + Ezreal = GOOD / STRONG

Thresh + Ezreal = Depends. / Middle

Janna + Ezreal = Depends. / STRONG

**There are 4 stages during the lane phase, **

The first stage is the early level 2 rush, which determines who gets the easy snowball route. (This is when you help your ADC harass the other teams bot lane until the certain point of the level 2)

You're guaranteed to get some summoner spells out of them or first blood.

The second stage during the lane phase is to look out for the enemies jungler, debate whether you might get ganked or not, because it DOES effect your lane by a significant amount if you both know you won't out scale their bot lane.

(This is when you already have item 2049 so DO use it, to prevent getting ganked.)

YOU must be the one eyeing the ganks as well as your jungler since your ADC is busy trying to CS.

The THIRD stage of the lane phase is when one side has the advantage of the other, (This is when it all comes down to bullying off both the enemy ADC and Support to back)

THIS IS WHEN YOU DRAGON WITH YOUR TEAM

The FOURTH stage is when it all comes down to take the enemies turret and group fast to push down either mid or some other lane to the point when its a one sided win.

Rinse & Repeat until you're high elo, then become creative with the stuff I just taught you here,

(THIS STUFF DOES NOT APPLY IN SOLO LANES)

I dodge when I get an Ezreal as a laning partner, he's too skill shot focused so it's a gamble whether he'll actually be any good or not. Also, if he's complaining about the support KSing him, that's usually a sign he's a bad ADC(it's not even a report option). I'd rather support a Caitlyn usually, they tend to be pretty consistent.

You can't change a person who says "support's dont KS, you know" until they actually realize how ignorant they look or you straight-up tell them.

I'm also assuming he's a new player or he's just a recent player with a nasty attitude.

As a Silver ADC I find Ezreal really hard to play. My friend in Diamond told me that he would be insanely OP if he could land all of his Q's, but hitting those things in lane are quite hard, especially when they just farm in minions.

If you're playing as Janna, just shield him when you see he has a LOS opening for the biggest effect I would say. That way he can trade with his Q and get the most damage done while not taking any himself. With that said, I do enjoy playing him when my support has some form of snare, like Morgana (or Leona, Blitz, Karma, Nami, and Braum's 4 hit deal is great). I can trade very well and wreck the lane when that situation arises.

No lie though, I really prefer sticking with Caitlin or similar. She has great range and a half decent escape, which makes her very versatile and easy to lane with almost any support. A lot of time in low Elo, you'll see Caitlin's do so consistently well because she is so easy to play. Stay at range, farm, poke, engage fights from good range. Can't really beat that when you aren't very good to begin with.

You can alternatively pick a bully -sustain support like Nami, Karma, and Sona when you go with an Ezreal (or even Cait) instead of Janna if you can't trust the adc. Playing Janna means you want the adc to be worth protecting, and if they don't have a relative idea of how this adc should be played you may as well just play adc Janna.

Ez is also usually really safe, so the extra peel should be left for some serious business disengage.

Half the Caits I play with end up AFK farming or AFK farming and zoned, so I never first pick Janna. :/ Caits have to be play to be ahead of the other guy to really worth keeping alive in teamfights.
