The only time I would first pick Nasus is if I'm taking him to the jungle, and can bait a counterpick top lane.

lol that is somewhat of a double-edge sword because he has very little ganking presence early on. There are better flex picks for baiting out counter picks in champion select

It's never something I would personally recommend, but from time to time it's a fun thing to play.

love seeing early nasus picks. i go azir and laugh as i not only harass him in the lane phase, but i also outscale him and prevent him from doing anything useful in a teamfight with my ultimate.

You dont outscale a Susan. Its just not possible. You hit a cap and he doesnt. (excepting veigar, and sion to a lesser extent)

And to op Thats partially a good reason to do so if you are at an elo that the enemy team to act as you say. If me playing nasus can get your jungler to camp me then ive already won. Dragon control? Check Snowballed bot lane? Check Lane pushed under my tower where i can cs, stack q, and be fairly safe(Go ahead and dive me. Even if i die you wont get out alive and ill just tp back)? Check Check and Check

Nasus hits a cap on tankiness, it's only the damage on his Q that scales infinitely. You can kill him from outside his range without taking any damage on lots of champions. Azir is one of them, Vayne would be another example.

Well your lucky if you get pushed under turret. I always freeze the lane when facing a doge. Every time he steps up for CS I smack him with a newspaper and he goes back to his kennel. Eventually he gets brave and wants to throw down but because he has such crap CS and almost no stacks, he ends up feeding me a kill.
