Is Zac a good buy?

I've been saving up for Zac for a few days because for some reason I've just randomly been wanting to play him. I've only played him once and I hated him, but that was a long time ago when I still sucked at League and it was also in ARAM, a gamemode that's made me hate many champions, but I've ended up liking them when I tried them on SR. I haven't seen too many people playing Zac lately, but when I do, they're pretty good

My preference in champion types are usually fighters and assassins, and tanks, if I have to play them. I'm bad with most tanks but Garen though

I already have Yasuo and Zed, which are pretty much the only 6300 IP champs that I actually want. Zac is pretty much the last one, except for maybe Ekko, but he's a low priority because I played him like 5 times when he was free and got extremely bored of him

That's another thing, is Zac actually fun to play? Like I said, I've only ever played him once and that was in ARAM and ARAM ruins a lot of shit for me, so I have no idea

I own him but don't play him much but still think he's extremely fun to play, he's tanky and also has good engaging tools. He shines brightest in teamfights though because you can elastic slingshot right into the middle and then use your ult. So yes, he's definitely worth it

Sweet, maybe I'll keep saving up for him then. He seems pretty cool. Another 4800 champ I've been kinda wanting was Vladimir because I've been playing him a lot the past week since he's free, but I kinda got bored of him too. So Zac it is

He's tons of fun to play but I like tanky junglers.

His E takes some practice to land right but once you get good at it you can pull off some awesome ganks and team fight initiations.

He's nearly impossible to kill if you play him right and he causes a ton of disruption and chaos on the battlefield for the other team.

Pool party Zac is awesome too.

Thanks guys, I bought him and I love him. I can't decide whether he's better jg or top, but either way he's really fun. The only sorta difficult part of him for me is his E because I play with cameralock on and I have to turn it off to use it and that fucks me up sometimes

But otherwise, he's really great. Went like 12/2/20 with him a few games ago and it was pretty much impossible for the enemy to kill me lol. So thanks for the advice guys, he's fantastic

zac is kinda the not-so-good version auf nautilus. so if you want to jungle him, better jungle naut instead. or maokai. zac really has no special advantage over those champs that would make him worth picking up.

I think Zac's a lot better than Naut. I haven't played Naut very much, just like two or three times, but I didn't like him that much. His CC is ok but Zac's got better CC imo. Naut's got his hook, his slow, and his knockup, and I believe that's it. But Zac can use his E to jump in, stun an enemy, get in front of them, ult them into his teammates, and then also slow them. A lot more effective I think

I'm pretty sure Zac does more damage, too. I barely did any damage as Naut, even when I build some items for it, and with Zac I can go almost full tank, except maybe one AP item and hurt like hell. And I understand Nautilus is a tank and isn't necessarily supposed to build damage, but Zac is also a fighter, and I like that about him. I'm not really good with full-blown tanks, but Zac has great CC that's really helpful for myself and the team. Not to mention Zac's passive is incredibly helpful, especially in teamfights and for when you get turret dived

Definitely like Zac more lol

i played both alot and im not a fan of either of them but without any doubt, nautilus is just the better champion. his clear is just a BIT better but his early ganks and skirmishing power is off the hook (HAHA) while zac really needs about 2 items to really get going.

zac might have better AoE-CC against clumped up gold teams but nautilus has the strongest single-target lockdown in game and his early damage is VERY high (much MUCH higher than zacs, even tho zacs damage scales very good in teamfights).

nautilus is just really good in what he does while zac is decent in some things but not exceptional in anything, which is his weakness. sure he can gank early and skirmish early and clear decent and be somewhat safe in teamfights and his midgame is okay too, but that means he kinda loses in all those areas to any stronger champion as its very hard to play into his powers.

also, for me, his teamfighting wasnt fun at all. maybe thats because im diamond and its very rare to get super good cheese-engages off, but mostly its really just boring waiting behind noobs until they get caught and then slingshot in.

i rather play an impactful jungler.
